• Wonderful way to experience Athens

  I was traveling solo to Athens and I was also looking for something outside but away from busy areas. This outing was perfect! Definitely a workout but completely manageable if you at least walk regularly. George was an incredible guide! Full of history and personal anecdotes. The views are spectacular! My only mistake was not booking a sunset time. George takes you to some beautiful out of the way parts of Athens.

  We booked a trip with George for the Mount Lycabettus hike. It was a pleasant trip and also included information about spots we were passing through. George is very knowledgeable about culture, history and architecture of Athens and very patiently answered tons of questions from us. It was like hiking with a friend, who ofcourse knows a lot about Athens and Greece. The summit was beautiful with a 360° view of Athens. We also went to viewpoint at Philopappos Hill with a golden view of Acropolis and luckily saw an amazing sunset from the hill. If you are in Athens, I would definitely recommend the tour, to soak in Athens city.

  Best. It was my solo trip. George did it perfectly with stories, photos etc. The best time to do it from April to October. You will be able to see sunset

  I can’t recommend this tour enough. This was my second time visiting Athens and I wish I had discovered George the previous time. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly, kept myself and others engaged the whole time, I am retiring later in the year and will definitely be seeing George again. 5 Stars! If you’re visiting Athens you absolutely must book a tour with George.

  Had such a great experience with this trip was really knowledgeable and intriguing and also a great way to see Athens from another angle looking down while hiking, also had the loveliest guide who really helped me to have an authentic trip would highly recommend!!

  Highly recommend for families traveling with kids! This trip was so well planned, hitting Athens’ iconic spots without any rushed chaos. Our guide George was awesome— super responsible, knowledgeable, and always looking out for the kids. For the kids, it was a fun, hands-on experience that let them soak up real Athenian vibes!

  I can't say enough great things about George! This was an amazing tour! I'm a lover of fitness and when I saw the name of this tour included Athens Hills, I immediately bought my ticket. I saw incredible views of Athens that I would have not seen otherwise. George also is a wealth of information on the history of Athens. I highly recommend this tour, it has been one of my favorites in all of my European adventures!

  This was one of the most unique tours we’ve done! George was not only knowledgeable, but also very friendly!!! We would’ve not experienced those amazing views and places on our own. • A Fun and Active Way to Explore the City Without the Crowds

  We had such a great morning with George. He’s welcoming, easy to talk to, and really knows his stuff about Athens, from history to everyday life. The route he takes you on is the perfect mix of peaceful gardens, hidden spots, and amazing views. Climbing up to Mount Lycabettus and later to Philopappos Hill gave us some of the best views of the Acropolis we saw all trip. You don’t need to be super fit to enjoy this. It is very doable if you’re reasonably active, but you’ll definitely break a light sweat on the way up to the highest point in Athens. For us, it felt more like a fun challenge than a hard hike. What we loved most was that it never felt rushed or touristy. George made it feel like we were out exploring the city with a local friend. By the end, we not only saw incredible views, but we also felt like we had a much better sense of Athens as a whole. Easily one of the highlights of our trip, and I'd highly recommend booking this tour for a unique experience in Athens.
