  We had a great day. Plenty to drink and eat! We thought the cider/beer tasting was a bit disappointing and would have preferred to go to another vineyard instead. Our driver Dave was very entertaining and funny.

  Michael and I had a fabulous time with three other couples and Dave our driver. We met the others for the first time that day and it enhanced the experience to be able to share it with the other couples. We all got to know each other a little. Dave was a great driver and guide and certainly knew his stuff! All in all a wonderful day and some great wines tasted. I also thought the cost was very reasonable and the vehicle clean and safe.

  My daughter and I have never been on a winery tour and this one looked amazing! The tour guide was friendly and engaging and very knowledgeable. The organised stops were varied and lots of fun. We were encouraged to interact with the other people and this enhanced the experience. We had a great experience, except one stop, but that was the host and nothing to do with the tour guide host or company. We would recommend this tour to anyone looking for a fun interactive interesting tour. Would definitely do this tour again!

  The wineries were all very nice but the timing was all off. Pickup was 1/2 late, the lunch was in boxes and there was huge wastage and the table wasn't cleared until the tour leader returned. There was a lot of time hanging around. The winery didn't want to clear the boxes as this was the job of the tour operator. We understand Two Fat Blokes has been sold. We did love the wine and chocolate tasting and the wine and cheese pairing. Overall it needs a little TLC.

  My daughters and I had the most fantastic time. We met another 3couples on the bus who made it a fun memorable day. We learned a lot about wine as well as a lot of jokes from our driver David. I’d recommend this gourmet tour to everyone. You won’t be sorry that you went. Great job Two Fat Blokes. We’ll go again.

  We enjoyed very pleasant, enjoyable and well paced Hunter Winery experience. Our driver Dave was very well versed in wines, the industry and the area. Our group was well "paired" and got on like a house on fire. The wineries, the route and lunch all fitted in together.

  I am single and travelling around Australia, so when I stay in a wine region I like to book a wine tour and not have to worry about the drinking and driving. But this was so much more than a wine tour. The pairings with chocolate and cheese elevated it to a different level. I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to learn what wines go with what cheeses and what chocolates. I wasn't so impressed with the brewery at the end of tour. I usually like breweries, but this one had only selected beers on their tasting paddle. All three beers were pretty terrible. They weren't to my taste, but I am sure I would have felt different if I could choose some of the other beers they had on tap.

  Wasn't the best I experienced. I hoped to have a nice cheese tasting with wine and cheese introduction. But our driver just read from paper wine discriptions with no emotions. The most disappointing was dry lunch in boxes. I expected hot meal as the other tours normally provide.

  We were bought this tour as a birthday present for my husband Jonathan. We were picked up promptly by Dave from Spicers’ Retreat. We started with Oakvale and had a very enthusiastic guy describe all the different wines. Our second stop included cheese pairings. The next at First Creek we had our tastings and in our opinion the best winery followed by lunch. We had 1 more stop for wine which included chocolate pairings. Lastly we stopped at Watson’s Brewery and for those who wanted a tasting of three beers. We had a friendly bunch and a fabulous driver.
