5.00An excellent off-the-ship excursion to a very nice vineyard with a substantial lunch and extensive wine tasting. This was exactly what the tour operator advertised in the tour description. Our guide/driver was pleasant, fluent in English, and knowledgeable. Overall, high value-for-money--our small group was quite pleased with this tour. A winner!!

5.00We got the pleasure of both coordinating and having Ryan, the owner, to be our tour guide for this special day trip experience from Punta del Este to Sacromonte vineyard which was hidden away with amazing views, wine and food! We got to meet the owner of the vineyard all while having a very personal experience. Some of the best pictures of our honeymoon are from this trip so it will always be memorable to us! Ryan’s communication was great and he also went out of his way to provide top ideas of things to do in Punta del Este and Montevideo. We went to a lot of the recommendations and never disappointed. Would highly recommend!

5.00What a great day. Ryan was super helpful in organizing and Nicolas spent the day with me. Both a pleasure. Sacromonte is a great spot to go to. About an hour from Punta del Este. Beautiful drive and then amazing location once there. Good wine. Good lunch. And Nicolas added a stop at Casapueblos on the way back. Thank you for a memorable day. Highly recommended.

5.00This was our second wine tour which we had taken with The Wine Experience. We just returned from taking the Gourmet Wine Experience in Punta del Este. Everything was planned so easily and efficiently with Ryan, after our initial contact through his website. We were actually staying in Montevideo, but Ryan suggested coming to Punta del Este for the day. We took the bus from Montevideo and Ryan met us at the bus station in Punta as planned. The tour began visiting a boutique winery where we literally had the entire winery to ourselves. Ryan had arranged for an incredible wine tasting with meats and cheese to accompany the wines. The winery itself was truly beautiful but in a very rustic way. It almost felt like we were on a movie set. We just enjoyed the wines and the experience itself so very much! It’s very hard to explain what an incredible experience this was, we felt like VIPs. If that part of the tour wasn’t spectacular enough, the best was yet to come. We left the winery and drove to Playa Vik, which is a beautiful resort right along the ocean. We had a gourmet lunch, family style overlooking the infinity pool in the near ground and the ocean just beyond that. Family style dining may not sound gourmet, but believe me, it was a fantastic absolutely gourmet dining experience. We were served a delicious appetizer along with a local white wine and then for our main course, we had platters of beef, fish, shrimp risotto, yams and more along with Vik’s world renowned red wine. Enjoying this meal with the beautiful scenery in front of us and in an exclusive resort, it’s as amazing as it sounds. The day was so much more than we could every have imagined. Thank you Ryan for everything you did to make our day so memorable.

5.00We had a blast! Super friendly guide, good wine knowledge and great wine taste. The winery was incredible, the wine was very good and hotel lunch was amazing. Overall the experience was worth every penny. We enjoyed it so much that we decided to do the Montevideo experience. Best wine tours we've had. Totally recommend it.

5.00Every second of this walk was amazing. Ryan was very attentive, fun, made the question of taking us to the winery where we could feel good at will and that was what happened. Beautiful place, delicious wines, delicious gastronomy and the breads and cheeses produced by them also, sensational. I return and recommend as many times as possible.

4.00The visit was very good, friendly and attentive owners, excellent quality food and the wines to harmonize, are a chapter apart: the sparkling is to make dreaming awake; the Tannat served, was a wonderful surprise not to mention the white and rosé that was also served at lunch. I will return as many times as I can and I recommend, tour that must not be missed on a trip to Uruguay.
