5.00Samuel is probably one of (if not THE) best tour guides I’ve encountered. Born and bred in Quebec City, he knows it like no other. One can tell from how he explains things that he knows the city by heart - showing you things only a true local will know. Heart is at the center of his tour too - he clearly cares about the city he lives in. In addition to his excellent knowledge and tour guide skills, what stood out most to me was his kindness. My aunt unfortunately injured her knee prior to our trip so she had a bit of difficulty in walking. Samuel was so kind and waited for my aunt to catch-up before starting his spiels. He never made us feel rushed, simply waited patiently. For this I owe him a debt of gratitude. Definitely go on a tour with Samuel if you’re going to Quebec City - you’ll regret it if you don’t.

5.00Took this tour in late December and despite the cold and snowy day, the tour still went on! The tour goes at a good pace and we learn a lot about the history, cultural and fun facts about the city. Samuel is super friendly and gives good recommendations on other things to try/visit. Definitely take this walking tour!

5.00I would highly recommend Sam's tour of Old Quebec for a great historical taste of the City! Sam is very friendly, funny, and keeps the group moving and informed all along the way. It was a lovely way to spend two hours getting acquainted in the early part of our trip.

5.00Sam gives a fantastic walking tour and I recommend it 100%!!! He's the best! We have recently been on 7 walking tours in Montreal (some free, most not) and this one in Quebec is better than any of those! If you are interested in historical facts and current cultural information, choose this tour! Sam's attention to detail as well as his jokes and his ability to connect with the group are all outstanding. We went on an extremely cold day and Sam paid attention to the windy conditions by stopping in sheltered corners to give his remarks. My husband and I also went on a bus tour of Old Quebec, but we learned a lot more and saw more on this walking tour. Highly, highly recommended!

5.00We are so glad we took this tour. Old Quebec is a beautiful city. Learning about it’s history gave us a deeper appreciation for it and all of its charm. Sam is a wonderful guide who clearly loves his hometown. His tours are funny and informative! We highly recommend this tour

5.00We thought Sam was great! He was able to keep the attention of our 12 and 10 year old boys. There was a good variety of information which gave a great overview of the city’s history and even gave great recommendations for things to do after the tour.
