Not too far from the modern Panama City but remote enough to enjoy a wonderfull tour in the way of the Darien Jungle. Meet indigenous people at the Mudugandi port where we will navigate in an artificial Dam that produces energy and be amazed by the vast biodiversity which constitutes a vital part of a biological corridor, which connects North and South America. It is an amazing place to visit accompanied by our bilingual Speleology guide and the local Embera indigenous guide as well.
We will walk inside of the Cave through the underground river for a couple of hours enjoying the speleothems formed by Volcanic rocks, limestone and some corals.

5.00We had an amazing adventure in the caves. This is an activity that definitely needs a guide as you take a boat (coordinated with a local) to get there. At times you wade through waist high water so I think it is best for teens through adults but we heard that younger kids have done it. While in the caves we saw bats and a caiman as well as stalagmites. Highly recommend

5.00As seasoned travelers we are always looking for an adventure that goes a little bit further. Bayano Cave is absolutely that special experience that really made us feel as though it was a cave different from any other that we had been to. We were pleased with the safety measures in place, and also happy when the call was made to turn around.... we definitely would have liked to see the final chamber, but rain made this difficult and our safety was put first. Really a nice day on the lake, enjoying time with Christian - a wealth of information, and bonding with everyone else helping along the way.

5.00My son and I had a blast in the Bayano Caves! Our guide Christian was awesome!!! I would highly recommend this experience! A must do!!
