A good day out from Bangkok. Very interesting visit to the old capital. Traffic not too bad! Pickup point was easy to find. Guide was good. Queen's Palace was very peaceful. Rest was interesting and some spectactular Stupa's. One needs some small change for the entrance fees but easily organised. Umbrellas available and recomended. Can be a hot day. A good trip.

This is a great tour to learn about the history and culture of Thailand in Ayutthaya . It is a great way to see and learn about the many historical sites in Ayutthaya. Ratima was an excellent guide who was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. She gave in depth explanations to each site we visited and maintained great energy throughout the tour.

Coco was great, she explained the history really well, gave us plenty of time to have time to explore alone, and has great communication skills. She was there early in the morning at the pickup point too. Coco is a friendly, fun and knowledgeable guide to have on your tour. I highly recommend her. Thanks Coco. Tour taken: 05June2025

Our tour guide from tripguru was named Chayada (or Cherry 🍒 for short). We did many tours in Thailand and she was by far the best. She WhatsApp messaged us the night before to confirm our pick up spot and answered our questions. Since our pick up was for 7:30, she brought us each a banana as she thought we might not have had time to eat. It was also forecasted to rain, so she brought us each a rain poncho — for everyone in the group. She wanted us to experience the local ice cream so bought us all one at the late morning stop. She was equally as generous with her time and amusing Thailand anecdotes, facts, and figures. If she didn’t have the immediate answer, she would look it up for us. She answered so many of our questions and knew where all the best photo spots were. She would also stop with us in the shade, away from the other groups so we were cool and could hear better. I can’t say enough great things about our guide, other than we hope that you get her too!

The Ayutthaya area of Thailand is amazing. Full of history and architecture. Our guide Coco was amazing ! She was extremely knowledgeable on regional history and kept us informed and laughing with her great personality. The palace was beautiful and the ancient temples stunning. The lunch place was some of the best food we had on the entire Thailand portion of our trip. Pick up and drop off were smooth, and Coco was very flexible with how we structured the tour. Thanks so much!!!
