  We had an absolutely amazing time on the Tico canoe tour through Tortuguero National Park. Being in the canoe allowed us to get incredibly close to nature, and we saw so much wildlife thanks to Gabriel’s incredible spotting skills - things we would have definitely missed on our own. Gabriel is not only extremely knowledgeable about the animals, birds, and the park itself, but he also has a deep respect for nature, which we really appreciated. He always made sure to keep things and not disturb the wildlife while still giving us the best possible experience. On top of that, he is just a genuinely great person - super friendly, easy to talk to, and with a great vibe. You can tell he really loves what he does.   I want to express my deepest thanks and admiration for the extraordinary experience we experienced in Tortuguero thanks to Gabriel. From the outset, he demonstrated impeccable professionalism, a deep knowledge of the environment and, above all, a genuine passion for his work that is conveyed in every word he shares. Tortuguero is a magical place on its own, but touring its canals, its jungle and discovering its biodiversity accompanied by someone who really loves what it does completely transforms the experience. He did not just show us the landscape; he taught us to understand it, to value it and to respect it. Every explanation about flora and fauna, every detail about local history and culture, and every moment of observation were guided with enthusiasm, patience and an infectious energy. Their ability to identify species, anticipate wildlife movements and explain clearly what we were seeing made each tour exciting and enriching. You can see that he not only works as a guide: he lives and breathes Tortuguero. That authentic connection to the place makes a huge difference. Choosing him as our guide was certainly the best decision we could make again for this adventure. Their commitment, human warmth and dedication raised the experience to an unforgettable and exciting level that we will always remember.   wonderful experience, we saw many animals, gabriel explains everything very well, has a lot of knowledge about flora and fauna, knows the best places for sightings and the best thing is that we left super early to avoid the multitude of canoes from other tours, which made everything much more pleasant, comfortable and personalized.

  Super recommended. Gabriel has been very respectful of animals and has explained in detail everything about animals and plants. He was very concerned that all the members of the canoe saw the animals. A 10 experience and a 10 for Gabriel who also made recommendations to us as a turtlemaker.

  Super super recommended. We did the activity by canoe and already the experience seeing animals and a paradise landscape is very worth it. But also, thanks to Gabriel we could see alligators and other species that he detected and knew to tell us everything interesting about them. Plus super nice at all times and worrying about us living the experience to the fullest. In short a 10

  Gabriel is very passionate about his work and is extremely knowledgeable. He goes above and beyond to make sure you have a great time and helped us take some brilliant photos. We did both the canal tour and the night walk and both were excellent. He is super friendly and helpful. Gabriel took us into a backwater which was so stunning it made us both emotional with gratitude to see such a beautiful place and to experience this was very special to us.   One of the best experience of my life, and I've traveled a lot ! Tortuguero is breathtaking and exploring it on the canals is magical. Gabriel made sure we didn't get to close to other groups making it feel private. He will spot all animals, herons, caimans, iguanas,... show them and explain everything about them and the nature of the parc. Very kind, friendly, the final treasure of Tortuguero is him!!!
