  This is a rip off for senior citizens, and anyone really! the tour at the US Capital is free. When you search, this site comes up and makes you think it is official. I booked the tour and my friend made the same booking thru the government for the free tour. Within minutes of booking i called and emailed to request a refund from the vendor, Viator. They said they would get back to me, not very timely i might add. I did not take the tour and will never use this site again. Buyer beware of the scams on the web and companies posing as the official site, charging for a free service offered by the US Government. I can not express how disgusted I am by this company trying to rip people off maybe senior citizen more than others, they should be ashamed of the business practice and how they conduct them selves. I requested a refund with in minutes of making the reservation because i thought this was a government site and the tour is provided by the government for free. The company was not responsive, they don't care about the customer, just want to make money ripping people off.

  This is an amazing tour and Dwayne is an amazing tour guide. He is very passionate about history and it shows. He provided an in depth description of the history of the Capitol and added some extra tidbits. Our tour was only a couple Of hours and I wished we had had the opportunity of having a longer tour with Dwayne.

  Very disappointing experience. First off, the actual Capitol tour is free; you don’t need to pay anyone, just show up and get tickets directly. What’s being promoted as a “4-hour tour” barely lasted under 2 hours, and it felt rushed and incomplete. There was no information about the Supreme Court, no insight into the building’s architecture, and nothing substantial beyond the basics. All that really happened was we were handed off to the official Capitol tour guides, who give the same short standard tour you could get on your own without booking through a third party. Honestly, it felt like a waste of time and money. If you’re considering this, skip it and just go directly to the Capitol Visitor Center - you’ll get the same thing for free.
