The experience continues with a visit to the Library of Congress (Capitol Museum on Mondays and 8am tours when Library is closed), home to the world’s largest collection of knowledge, where you’ll see Thomas Jefferson’s original library and Gutenberg Bible.
As you walk along Capitol Hill with your guide, you will also stop outside the Supreme Court, Senate Offices, and House of Representative Office building. This tour offers an insightful and memorable introduction to the institutions that shape the United States.

Look up to admire “The Apotheosis of Washington,” a breathtaking fresco soaring 180 feet above, and stand in the Crypt, originally intended as George Washington’s final resting place. This immersive visit offers a powerful glimpse into the stories, architecture, and legacy at the heart of the United States. *The government has the right to close or to cancel any tour inside the US Capitol without advanced notice to us.

4.00Dwayne was our tour guide. His depth of knowledge and his passion for history made the tour exciting. This was my first time to DC and I did not know what to expect. When I return home, I plan to read some history books! Dwayne was great and when I come back, I hope to get on another of his tours. Well done Dwayne!

1.00I purchased my tickets as a same day tour. Within 20 minutes of ordering and receiving my tickets. AND MY CARD CHARGED IMMEDIATELY. I received a call informing me the Capital was closing early for weather and could I do another day. I was unable to reschedule. My request for a refund has been denied. It appears the site sold tickets to a location that was known to be closing and now will not refund the costs.

4.00Guide was tremendously knowledgeable and friendly. Disappointing time mgmt. spent too much time in the beginning talking about the tour instead of just getting to it at the end we had to run to the Library of Congress. He just left us and told us to get to the Library of Congress and when we got there, it was closed not a great ending.
