Uvac Special Nature Reserve

We are starting our adventure at Uvac lake dam, where we will board our comfortable cruise boat. Uvac river snakes its way through massive limestone rocks, making breathtaking canyon that beckon exploration. We will enjoy crystal clear water, fresh breeze and amazing landscape. Prepare to be enchanted by the our next stop! Ice cave system that stretched an impressive 6 kilometers. With the two entrances, this remarkable cave connects the canyon with the other side of the mountain. Enjoy the natural beauty of stalactites and stalagmites, and discover why it has earned its icy reputation. Finally, highlight of the day awaits as we embark on a scenic hike trough the meandering hills. The trail leads us to the viewpoint Veliki Vrhovi. Prepare to be amazed by the astonishing panorama that awaits us there! This nature reserve is home to over 130 different bird species, but most represented are definitely Griffon Vulture. This majestic birds with their 3-meters wingspans, are must-see.
