Step inside a world of murder, revenge, and true grit in a dramatic history of Victorian Gastown. This roving one-person play is led by a professional actor in character. Stories of deadly fire and smallpox emerge from the shadows as you venture through cobblestone streets to the shocking finale in this unique performance-theatre experience.

Our tours are designed for adult audiences and do contain some references to adult themes. Our age recommendation is 14+ but certainly children aged 10+ can attend and enjoy our walking tours if parents are comfortable with their children hearing mature subject matter.

1.00Honestly just not what I expected. The made up stories were uninteresting, we walked in a circle to same spots essentially. Everyone in the group looked like they didn’t want to be there.

5.00Rather than a ghost tour, it was more of a historical tour, but still fun and very worth our time. Our guide personalized the narrative in a way that made it really engaging. We learned a lot about Vancouver and heard a few spooky tidbits to boot. Vanessa was incredible. it was cold and raining, but she stayed 100% committed to her character and gave it her all. Total respect for her abilities as an actress and the level of professionalism she displayed. She was also great at improvising, which created several fun interactions with the participants. Totally recommend this activity as a cool way to explore a historic part of Vancouver and to learn more about its past.
Great fun for fans of storytelling!

5.00Our tour with Vanessa was fantastic! Despite the rain, our hour and half walk was easy (coming from someone with a bad back, bad knees and asthma) and fun. I loved how every story was connected and the fact that Vanessa never broke character, even at the small interruptions that occurred (a siren and a car alarm). If you're into tragic ghost stories/murder mysteries, this is definitely for you. 10/10, totally recommend; worth every penny!

5.00We very much enjoyed our walking tour and learning about some of the history and characters of Gastown. Billy was an exceptional and entertaining guide and we highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting some evening entertainment in Vancouver.

5.00What a wonderful and entertaining experience we had on this tour! ‘George’ was a one-man show leading us around the city and sharing ‘his’ story from the 1800’s! We learned a lot and were thoroughly entertained! Definitely recommend!

2.00Bad mostly booking I double paid for the show . they have a silly policy 24 hours in advance that applies for everyone no exception even if I you made a mistake at the same date of the event that’s when I purchased my ticket and I called them and I told them the error is still didn’t refund no money.
