Want to visit the Vatican Museums & Sistine Chapel on your own, but still have benefit of skipping the long entrance lines? Try these easy escorted tickets.

You will make your way to our meeting point where your ticket escort will be waiting to take you inside. You will enter using the fastest possible entrance. Get expert advice for how to make the most of your time inside the museums before setting off to explore on your own.

All Vatican tickets are timed entrance and specifically for the date you booked. Change of plans? You can request as many changes of date or time as you like or a full refund up to just 24 hours before your travel date.

Please note that your booking voucher is not valid for entry to the Vatican Museums! You must bring your voucher to the meeting point to enjoy your escorted Skip the Line entrance and receive your valid entrance ticket.

Children 6 and under are entitled to free access to the Vatican Museums (with proof of age)

Children aged 7-18 are entitled to a reduced entry fee (see tour and ticket pricing) and must provide proof of age.

Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

A dress code is required to enter places of worship and selected museums. No shorts or sleeveless tops allowed. Knees and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women. You may risk refused entry if you fail to comply with these dress requirements.

Check-in is 15 minutes prior to the booked start time. Tickets are time sensitive and we cannot accomodate late arrivals.

Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.

We went on the Vatican tour Nov 1 with Lindy as our guide. She was very knowledgable and interesting! We learned so much, and Lindy was able to navigate us around the crowds expertly. Our guide was very helpful, even though it wasn't a guided ticket, she accompanied Us until the entrance and gave us all the tips for an easy visit. Definitely book the tickets, the lines were too long and you ‘ll have a good guide before entry to know what you should do inside.

The skip the line ticket option is well worth the price. We met our tour guide, Maria Laura, at the meeting place and she led our group of 12 to a much shorter line for entrance to the museum. The crowd size was very large, but we got in quickly. Once inside, Maria gave us an overview of our guided tour. She was very knowledgeable of what we were going to see. She had photo materials to point out certain aspects of the paintings such as themes and even some hidden faces of other artists. This tour option is best for anyone who doesn’t like long lines or not a lot of time to spare. Our tour guide’s knowledge really added to the experience.

Martina was an absolutely fantastic guide! She struck the perfect balance between being professional and casual, making the entire experience feel fun and engaging. Even though the Vatican Museums were extremely busy, she navigated us through the crowds with ease, always pointing out the best spots to stand for the perfect perspective on the historical pieces. Her humor, energy, and clear explanations brought the artworks and history to life. She genuinely made the tour many times better than it would have been on our own.
