Saint Peter’s Basilica is subject to last-minute closures for religious ceremonies. When this occurs, we're happy to offer customers an extended tour of the Vatican Museums. While we endeavour to tell tour groups ahead of time if there are any planned disruptions to the Basilica's opening hours, this is not always possible and in these cases we are unable to provide refunds or discounts.
On Wednesdays, due to the Papal Audiences, access to St Peter's Basilica is not possible in the morning.
Please note all participant names and date of birth are required at the time of booking in order to join this tour. If we do not receive this information, we will cancel the booking. Every customer is required to carry a valid ID that matches the name on the ticket, or an entry will be refused. Name changes are not permitted once the booking is confirmed.
Please be advised that this tour option is non-refundable, with no cancellations or date changes allowed due to pre-purchased tickets. It is mandatory to bring a valid ID or Passport for security checks, and entry will not be granted without proper documentation.
The Evening Tour option does not include the access to St Peter's Basilica and consists of a 2-hour guided tour of the Vatican Museums.

5.00What an incredible experience! Giuseppe was an incredible and knowledgeable guide-the perfect person to guide us through the Vatican. He made our experience unforgettable, knew all the history and the best places to take photographs. He was very kind and truly has a passion for history, which made our time with him even better. We did many different tours on our trip but our tour with him was by far the best! We even ran into him again another day and he remembered us-very special. Thank you Giuseppe!

5.00Ambra was a great tour guide. There is far too much to see to explain everything but she did a great job hitting the highlights and with the preview of what we would see in the Sistine Chapel. Ambra is also very personable and fun to talk to. Great job! Having an organized tour to skip the long lines was also a huge plus, although the radios could be improved to fit ears better. Several people in the group had trouble getting them to stay on.

5.00Our guide, Rosella, made the whole experience wonderful. She was warm, funny, and very informative. She kept the group together. She made it a point that we all had time to view items she pointed out. From our experience, this is hardly the case. We highly recommend this company and especially Rosella.

5.00The guided tour was amazing. Alessandra "Alex" was very, very exceptional. She really helped us get the most out of 3 hours, you could easily spend days visiting these sites. The admission fee was reasonable and worth paying to have the knowledge. It was the holiday time, US Labor Day for EUR, crowd size was a bit overwhelming but with the tour there was no waiting. I would highly recommend this tour if you have never been to the sites previously. City Wonders did an amazing job with organizing and entrance to the buildings.

5.00Oksana was the perfect tour guide for me. She really described and informed us of the art in the Vatican and I appreciated her knowledge about MichaelAngelo. She was very enthusiastic. We only had one small time in the Vatican to try and get a feel for it and she did a great job. Saint Peter’s Basilica was amazing!
