Saint Peter’s Basilica is subject to last-minute closures for religious ceremonies. When this occurs, we're happy to offer customers an extended tour of the Vatican Museums. While we endeavour to tell tour groups ahead of time if there are any planned disruptions to the Basilica's opening hours, this is not always possible and in these cases we are unable to provide refunds or discounts.
On Wednesdays, due to the Papal Audiences, access to St Peter's Basilica is not possible until 1pm
Please note all participant names and date of birth are required at the time of booking in order to join this tour. If we do not receive this information, we will cancel the booking. Every customer is required to carry a valid ID that matches the name on the ticket, or an entry will be refused. Name changes are not permitted once the booking is confirmed.
Please be advised that this tour option is non-refundable, with no cancellations or date changes allowed due to pre-purchased tickets. It is mandatory to bring a valid ID or Passport for security checks, and entry will not be granted without proper documentation.
The Evening Tour option does not include the access to St Peter's Basilica and consists of a 2-hour guided tour of the Vatican Museums.

5.00Very easy to find our Guide. We didn't have to wait in long queues. The guide from start to finish was amazing. She was so knowledgeable and brought the art and history of the tour to life. There was so much to see, you didn't realise the time - it flew by. Definitely worth a visit.

5.00We booked this tour prior to arrival on in Rome after having done some research . Updates throughout and up to the day of meeting our guide was perfect with no issues and straightforward communication . Upon meeting our guide Fabio who handed out the intercoms, we knew we were in good hands , it was an ideal personal tour as we had a group of 11 people and everybody seemed to enjoy themselves and got on well . It was a Fantastic Guided Tour, and we really couldn’t fault it. Fabio’s knowledge is excellent and he is passionate, and always making sure that all participants are comfortable and enjoying the experience. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone who wants to visit the Vatican as you don’t have to queue to anywhere and you have access to some places where people don’t normally go. 100% recommended.

5.00This was very well organised. All the instructions were very clear and able to follow before the tour. Alex our guide was brilliant, very knowledgable, very informative, funny and charismatic. She knew after one introduction where we all came from and brought to our attention connections with some of those certain countries. The tour was very well laid out and thankfully due to the time of year less busy and very smooth. The group size was just right and we were able to access everything we wanted to. The audio equipment worked well and we were able to hear very clearly. Alex’s English and pronunciation is very good and clear. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole event and would recommend this to anyone wanting to do this tour.
