We had a lovely time with Kaori-san. She was kind and generous with her knowledge and time. This was a perfect time away from the tourism and crowds, and it’s the tastiest Japanese meal I’ve had in Japan!

We spend a most wonderful morning with Kaori and Miwa making vegan ramen and gyoza!!! You won't find vegan ramen in Tokyo as delicious as the one we made today!!!! Kaori picked us up at the train station, took us to a grocery store to show us all the ingredients we would be cooking with and then brought us to her home to cook with her her and Miwa. The ramen was fabulous! Deep and delicious flavour!! The time spent with Kaori will no doubt be a highlight of our Japan trip. And she gave us all the recipes so that we can make it at home. We are planning on having a Raman/Gyoza party when we get back to Canada!! Domo Kaori and Miwa!!

We booked the cooking class as a birth gift for our daughter and participated in three. Mrs. Kaori picked us up from the station and explained the relevant ingredients to us in the supermarket before preparing the food in her kitchen. Tips and recipes rounded off the experience positively. We are very satisfied and have already recommended the cooking course.

Our family had a wonderful morning with Kaori. My son is vegetarian so this was perfect. Kaori gave me excellent directions and met us at the train station. She then walked us through the market there and pointed out all the ingredients we’d be using. She drove us to her house and we made ramen, gyozas, gyoza sauce, chili oil & a rose cinnamon apple. It was a fun experience and she was very lovely.

We very much enjoyed our cooking class with Kaori-san. Kaori-san is very friendly and helpful, and her instructions are very clear and easy to follow. We were all able to help prepare the meal, and the outcome was delicious! I particularly enjoyed our trip to the supermarket where Kaori-san showed us the ingredients we'd use to prepare the meal and explained which substitutes we could use if our supermarket didn't stock the Japanese ingredients. I enjoyed the fact that the cooking class was also a lesson in Japanese culture, with Survival Japanese and interesting facts about the country and the culture. We would highly recommend this class!

Was bought this experience as a birthday present before coming to Japan. Our host was super friendly both in giving us details beforehand and on the day. We asked lots of questions about Japan, food and her life and she was very happy to answer. The food was also AMAZING! A great balance of skills, support and tasting new things. I would highly recommend for anyone who loves Japanese food and wants an introduction into cooking it. Thank you

Look no further and book!!! Kaori offered a most hospitable experience. Being welcomed into her own kitchen was the highlight of our experience in Japan. My husband and our 13 year old son had an amazing adventure discovering how true Ramen is made and what it tastes like. It was the BEST Japanese food we ever tasted. Making gyoza was another highlight. Kaori explained all the steps, introduced us to all the fun ingredients we hadn't used before and made it seem like we can do this at home. We have now made plans for cooking parties at home! It helps that Kaori takes you to a supermarket and shows you what you'll need. Initially, i was nervous about the cost. But i realized we never question when we have to pay for a show or a concert entertainment. This one however allows you to be a part of the experience, making memories with family and friends, and tops it with a fabulous meal you'll continue to dream about for years to come - now that's priceless!!! THANK YOU, Kaori!!!

Kaori was an excellent host and instructor. It was very easy to follow the steps and understand the recipe process. She answered all questions clearly and accurately. I will have no issue following her recipes once we get home.
