5.00My wife and I splurged on a private tour with Lucia and it was worth every euro. We emailed back and forth a few times to let her know what aspects of Venice we would be interested in and she put together a custom tour for us. She was on time to meet us at our hotel and the whole experience was fantastic. She had interesting stories about everything we saw, and provided us with advice and recommendations. Beyond that, she helped us out with our plans to Murano and Burano and kept in contact with us through WhatsApp throughout our stay. She was a great guide and we highly recommend her.

5.00Nuova Lucia was absolutely wonderful! Her knowledge of history, the little details and insights she shared as a native Venetian, mixed with her warm and charming personality really brought Venice to life. She had an answer for every single question we had. I'm so glad we took this tour. We would've kept walking past fascinating landmarks with incredible stories and not even given them a second look. Don't make that mistake. Lucia isn't like the other tour guides you see guiding people around the square with a flag and a monotone voice. She makes it feel like your just hanging out with a long lost friend as she shows you around her home. It's very casual, very insightful and worth every penny.

5.00Our travel agent had booked us a private walking/boat tour with Lucia and it was one of the highlights of our trip! Lucia was delightful, fun and extremely knowledgeable about the history of Venice. She also gave us some resturant recommendations that were the BEDT meals we had in Venice!

5.00The entire afternoon was delightful. Lucia was wonderfully patient with us and made us feel like we were the most important customers she'd ever had. She is a lifelong Venetian and knew many of the locals, which made it more inviting for us. She likes to highlight local small business that she frequents off the tourist path, yet we visited the tourists sites as well for comparison. It was our first time in Venezia, and would not have been so interesting for us if not for Lucia. If you are staying multiple days, as we were, take her tour early in your stay, you will enjoy your time much more if you do. She is a Bella donna inside and that shows on the outside.

5.00Summing this tour up in two words: MUST DO! Lucia was nothing short of awesome. She made the tour very interactive including lots of humor and her infectious happy personality, and it's clear she's a local as she knew all the in's and out's for the best places for picturesque pics, places to go eat and explore! She also had an ipad and other materials as we were working our way from San Marco square throughout the winding streets to talk through the history of Venice. I highly recommend this tour with her!
