This tour is a perfect blend of culture and cuisine—ideal for anyone who wants to experience the soul of Verona through its food, wines, and charming places.
If you choose the morning tour, you’ll start with a typical Veronese breakfast: Espresso and Risino, a rice-based pastry. Then enjoy a walk through the center, stopping at a historic osteria for traditional meatballs. Lunch features Amarone risotto in a local Trattoria, followed by a wine tasting of local wines with small pairings. A final stop at a gelateria offers a sweet, artisanal touch.
If you choose the afternoon tour, your journey begins with a non-alcoholic aperitivo and cicchetti in a local Osteria. Then enjoy a glass of wine in a historic café or wine shop. You’ll stop at a local takeout spot for a cone of handmade meatballs—an iconic street food snack—before wine tasting in a wine shop. The tour ends with a classic Aperol Spritz in a traditional Focacceria.

5.00We have taken food tours in Rome and Mexico City. Since this was our first visit to Verona, we thought this would be a good way to get introduced to the city and its cuisine. We joined a small group (five of us in total) with Alessandra as our guide. After a first stop for coffee (naturally), we meandered through town sampling fine food and drink for over three hours. We never felt rushed — in fact it was all very casual. Our main meal was risotto Amarone, something completely different from any Italian food we’d experienced. And of course we finished up with gelato. All of it was time well spent and we heartily recommend it.

5.00My husband and I had a fantastic walking food tour with Anna! We booked the day before and we had her to ourselves. She was super knowledgeable not only about Verona but the food and wine. We had about 5 stops and met some of the owners/staff. I highly recommend this tour.

5.00This was my first time doing a food tour, and it was a fantastic experience. Our guide was fabulous, five stars doesn't do her justice. She answered all our questions about food and culture. She is an amazing ambassador for her city and region. All the food and wine were excellent, and we tried food we might not have otherwise eaten. At every place Ale brought us, she was warmly welcomed by the staff, which reflected their regard for her. I never felt rushed and enjoyed the experience. I would highly recommend this tour.
