  Good tour. Plenty of history included. Our guide, Soto was excellent. Enjoyed cycling grounds which allowed us to see more.

  The Versailles half-day bike tour with Marie Antoinette’s Hamlet was the highlight of our trip to Paris. Kayla from California at Fat Tire Tours was an energetic, informative, and fun guide! Riding bikes through the grounds of the estate outside the palace grounds was a fantastic way to experience the magnificent parklands and visit the less-crowded and more digestible “getaways” of the royals. The geared bikes were comfortable and safe and we were not even sore the next day. Pedaling through the village of Versailles without the worry of having to figure out a route made the whole excursion so enjoyable. Just sit back and take in the gorgeous magnitude of the whole place knowing you will be seeing it all efficiently. The guide walks you back to the entrance of the Palace of Versailles after you turn in your bikes and have a sandwich or cookies and ice cream at the local businesses in the bike shop’s plaza. Then you can shuffle through the palace with the hordes on your own time.

  This was such a well organized tour from start to finish. Slayton, our tour guide was excellent - his knowledge was great and he made every piece of history entertaining and interesting. We had plenty of time at each stop, including a comfort break halfway through. The cycling was mainly flat and at a leisurely pace suitable for everyone. At the end of the tour we returned our bikes to the shop. Slayton then escorted us to the entrance of the palace to ensure we all got in, then we could explore the palace and gardens at our own pace. A really great trip and a brilliant way to see Versaille!

  Great experience-highly recommend!! Our guide, Bart was so knowledgeable and friendly. This was more fun than touring the inside-but you get to do both!

  A great experience. Andrea was our guide. He was very knowledgeable and clearly enjoyed his job. It was a bit more walking than biking and the palace tour was all on foot. It was very neat to see the grounds though and this was much easier to cover via bike.
