I loved the day trip to Butchart Gardens and Victoria. It was a lot of travel with the bus trip and ferry but I enjoyed these experiences too.

This tour was a perfect tour for the area. Sam was the perfect guide. He knew all the details of the area, special facts, recommendations for dining, answers to all questions and so much more. He was so pleasant to deal with, through Butchart Gardens, Chinatown, Vancouver on and the ferry and off. It was a long day and exciting day for all of us and will be remembered pleasantly forever. Not only was Sam the best tour guide ever, he turned out to be a jack of all trades when our bus wanted to break down. He handled the issue with ease and got us another bus without any trouble at all. He was amazing. He even told jokes and did magic tricks.

My sister and I wanted to do a day trip to Victoria from Vancouver and realized it was much simpler to book an inclusive trip. We’re so happy we did, as it made getting to and from the things we wanted to see in Victoria much easier. Our guide, Derek, was very punctual and knowledgeable, which are two traits I find essential in a tour guide.
Long but worthwhile day trip!

It is a long day but very worthwhile! Our tour guide, Mark, was professional, funny, informative and provided all information we needed to make it a great day. The gardens are stunning and Victoria a quaint seaside capital city. We had fresh fish and chips at the Bard and Banker Hotel - definitely recommend a visit there.

Kyle is amazing! He was kind, smart, energetic, an excellent driver and very experienced. He took care of our tour of 14 people from 8am to 10pm. Get ready for a long day and lot of walking- but it is worth it.

The day trip was as described in the package. The driver-guide (Derek Ralphs) was cheerful and informative. Warning - this a full day 0800-2130hrs on your feet, viewing the gardens and then downtown Victoria. But, worth doing, and we got a bonus on the ferry seeing a humpback whale. Thanks, Derek for making it an enjoyable day.

What a fabulous excursion to Vancouver Island and Butchart Gardens! Our tour guide Sarah kept us entertained with her extensive local knowledge & stories as well as being the perfect host for the day. An enjoyable, very full day excursion

Sam, our funny, bright, informative and enthusiastic driver/guide picked up 20 of us from our Vancouver hotel just before 8am. We headed for the ferry to Vancouver Island and arrived early enough to get on the 9am ferry, instead of the 10am one. That gave us an extra hour on the island. We drove to Victoria and we were given 3 hours free time. It really is a very nice city, with lots to see and do. It was then on to Butchart Gardens, enjoying the fantastic gardens for an couple of hours and then the coach back for the 7pm ferry to Vancouver, arriving at our hotel at 9.30pm, after the 90 minute ferry crossing. It was a very full, busy day, which we enjoyed a lot, aided by Sam’s jokes, information and magic skills. The scenery wasn’t bad either.

Have been to Butchard Gardens before and it is always stunning no matter the season! But summer is a must! Went with some local gardener friends this visit which made all the difference to us non-gardeners.
