Join us as we head out in search of marine wildlife in the waters of British Columbia on this 3-hour whale-watching adventure in Victoria! Hop aboard your open-air vessel in Victoria’s inner harbour and enjoy an intimate wildlife experience for the adventurous at heart! The zodiac is custom built for exploring the Salish Sea. Keep a sharp lookout for whales, pinnipeds and other marine wildlife! Discover the beauty of Victoria on our whale watching tour, starting from the picturesque Inner Harbour and cruising past the iconic Ogden Point Terminal, with sights of the majestic Legislative Building, the charming Fisherman’s Wharf, the historic Empress Hotel, and the Royal BC Museum’s buildings.

2.00Don't be fooled by the close up photos of whales in promotional photos of these tours. Boats are not allowed to get closer than 100 metres to humpbacks and 200 metres to Orcas. Too far to see anything clearly from the zodiac. In a three hour trip we only spent a few minutes viewing humpbacks from a distance, and saw no Orcas. Instead of remaining longer with the whales, for some reason the driver/pilot decided to head back early to give us an ultra-lengthy tour of the coastline on the way back. Disappointed.

5.00We got really lucky and saw a bunch of Orcas on a hunt. I know that isn't always the experience and the operator cannot control that. However, it was awesome. Now the things the operator can control which they did great. Everything was on time. Friendly guides (George was the main one). Good equipment. Coordinating everything/no surprises. I would certainly recommend people do a tour. I did the small boat which costs more but I really liked the experience. Only comment for improvement is there is a fuel surcharge that doesn't show up until the check out. I was fine paying the overall price but didn't like seeing the change right at the end of the process. Cross posted to Google.

3.00Its probably just the location being too accessable; Victoria; but we regretted taking this tour. There are just too many whale watching boats out there - all trying to get their clients a view. Yes, I realise we too, are part of the problem. I just ended up feeling guilty for being a participant.

5.00We had an amazing experience with captain Mark today! First seeing a family of killer whales, after which he went the extra mile and found us three himpback whales. A dream coming true. So worth it!!

5.00absolutely fantastic tour with our Captain Mark whose knowledge and expertise made the trip very enjoyable. We saw humpbacks, orca, Steller sealions and even a couple of otters on the way back into the harbour. Thank you so much

5.00We had the most amazing time on our zodiac tour with Mark as our captain. We drove along scenic shorelines in the sunshine to view a pod of 9 killer whales feasting on a recently captured sea lion. The pod consisted of Moms, babies and young whales and it was the most beautiful display of whale playfulness to witness. Mark was very helpful answering questions and offered so much of his knowledge and experience which was so great. We registered directly with the company and spoke with Amber. She was incredibly friendly, informative and took the time to help answer our questions and helped us suit up. Amber has the ability to make the safety lesson not only informative but also entertaining. I highly recommend the zodiac experience if you want to see and feel these beautiful animals in their natural habitat without disturbing them.
