Da Nang Museum of Cham Sculpture
Located in the heart of Đà Nẵng, the Da Nang Museum of Cham Sculpture is the world’s largest museum dedicated to the ancient Champa civilization. Established in 1919, this century-old museum houses more than 400 remarkable artifacts dating from the 5th to 15th centuries — including 12 recognized National Treasures.
Visitors can admire an extraordinary collection of stone carvings, terracotta sculptures, and metal artworks depicting Hindu and Buddhist deities, sacred animals, and mythical motifs — each reflecting the rich cultural and artistic heritage of the Champa Kingdom.
The museum itself is a masterpiece, featuring unique architecture inspired by ancient Champa temples. Recognized as a first-class museum in Vietnam and a City-level Historical Monument, it offers an unforgettable journey into one of Southeast Asia’s most captivating ancient civilizations.

5.00Cham Sculpture Museum: The Champa kingdom was strongly influenced by Brahminism and worshiped mainly Brahmin gods like Shiva. This museum mainly displays sculptures excavated from the ruins of My Son, representing the Hindu culture of the Sino-Vietnamese Champa Kingdom. The stone carvings are exceptionally beautiful and unique, and differof the style of Theravada Buddhism.
