5.00Excellent tour for our first visit to Lyon of four days. Paul provided an informative tour while sprinkling in humor throughout his presentation. We so enjoyed the Vieux Lyon tour we proceed to sign up for his other tour. Group size is limited to provide a personal and relaxed experience. The pace and distance of the walk is very manageable for all ages. Although the tour is called a free tour, it is worth a generous tip.

5.00We booked this tour at the last minute to enable us to see Lyon through the eyes of a local guide. Paul our guide didnt dissapoint, he was extremely knowldgeable of the sites and history of the town, whilst being entertaining. The tour was of the right length and we were shown Lyon's secret passages and the towns link to silk manufacturing. Paul, who lives in Lyon, had a good reportoire with it's residents, which allowed him better access to places than other tours.

5.00Everything about the tour was great. Paul was friendly and communicative, has great knowledge of the history, culture, architecture, atmosphere, and all other things, about Lyon. We highly recommend this tour. And it was free (but it is recommended to give Paul a nice tip...he deserves it).

5.00Our guide was interesting and well-informed and he took us places I never would have found on my own. He provided a lot of accurate historical information as well as tips on what to do, where to eat, and what to see for the remainder of our visit. I highly recommend this tour.

5.00Paul was an excellent tour guide. Very knowledgeable and helpful. We saw many sites that one would never know about or fully understand. He was very pleasant and helpful. At the end of our time, he even gave us a list of suggested restaurants. One suggestion is to go up the basilica on the funicular before the tour starts. Give yourself at least 1.5 to 2 hours to see this beautiful area. Then, come down and start the tour with Paul. We did this and it worked out perfectly.
