• Private Tour from Vilnius to Riga (Hill of Cross, Rundale Palace & Bauska Castle)

  We wanted to book a trip from Vilnius to Riga (Hill of Cross, Rundale Palace & Bauska Castle). However, the departure is only limited to Monday, Wednesday and Friday. So, we proceed to book a private trip for three of us instead. The driver cum guide was very friendly, punctual and did what was required to ensure we cover all three places. All the places of interest are very interesting and beautiful. Before starting a tour on each location, the guide will provide the needful information and some history about the places. Overall, it was a good trip and we enjoyed the tour very much including a transfer from Vilnius to Riga. The only setback was that the guide seemed to rush us through during the Bauska Castle visit, but we had ample time, so we spent the time at the castle at our own pace and the guide didn’t really chase us since we were on time. Later, we realised that he had to drive all the way back home from Riga to Vilnius after dropping us off at our hotel at Riga, so we completely understood his situation.   Adam was absolutely amazing tour guide. Great driver and huge wealth of information. Was very happy with the tour.

  High price but good guide and good trip. Unfortunately the tour company still has not issued the AA points almost 3 months later. Not good business practice.

  Pretty nice trip. The hill of crosses is ok, the palace is very nice, a true small version of Versailles, and the castle is very cool, even though it was reconstructed. My guide Doni was very nice and knowledgeable. A bit pricey, but nice overall.

  The value of this transfer is amazing! No need to mess with airports, airlines or taxis to/from. We picked up the minivan at Cathedral Square in Vilnius, made three tourist stops on the way, and arrived into Riga at 5pm. This is an UNGUIDED TOUR, but truly no one needs a guide at these three stops. We were given some very basic information about each place, which was appreciated, and then we were off on our own to explore. On the minivan was another couple and us. The departure is guaranteed, so you can book with confidence!

  We very much enjoyed the Rundale Palace and the Bauska Castle but the Hill of Crosses was easily the highlight of this fantastic tour. It was extraordinarily moving. The tour guide, Adam, was absolutely the best. I highly recommend this tour.

  Communication was great in terms of confirming the pickup time and location, and our guide was highly knowledgeable and explained the history of each site we visited. The itinerary was well planned and the amount of activities was perfect for a day trip - We didn’t feel rushed and we also didn’t think any time was wasted. Great way to see a few sites while in transit from Vilnius to Riga!

  It is a very good option not just to travel from Lithuania to Latvia, but also the opportunities to visit attractions - the Hill of Crosses, Rundale Palace and Bauska Castle. It is recommended to those who would like to travel from Vilnius to Rega and at the same time wish to visit the place of interest along the journey.

  Good tour. Our guide was early and took us promptly along the planned itinerary. We enjoyed the various stops. At the final stop at bauska castle he gave us a quick guided tour and we were on our way. This is a nice way to transit between Vilnius and Riga while also seeing sights in the countryside and learning about their culture.
