As we move to the Palatine Hill and Roman Forum, you'll walk in the footsteps of Emperors through the Imperial Palace and follow the routes of great senators and orators as we wind through the towering temples and archways of the Forum. Your expert guide will bring the hustle and bustle of the ancient city back to life through incredible stories and facts - some of them as old as 2000 years!

*Please note we will either start with the Colosseum or the Roman Forum/Palatine Hill depending on the time of tickets we can purchase*

**Colosseum admission is free on the first Sunday of the month. Tours are discounted on these days.**

So informative and Paulo was a superb guide. I would definitely recommend a tour to cover all the highlights as there’s so much to take it. We normally just like to do our own thing but we all agreed the tour was the way to go!

Marianna was excellent. She was funny, knowledgable and took no prisoners. She made the tour. She really breathed life into the Colloseum, Palatine Hill and Forum. We had two teens with us so keeping them egaged isn’t always easy but she really achieved this. Great fun was had. Her English is incredible.

My wife and I were not sure what we were going to get in a guide for the Colosseum, Forum, and Palatine Hill. We were beyond impressed and satisfied. Selene, our guide and an archeologist, made the 2000-year history of the spaces accessible in a way that we did not expect. She was personable, entertaining, and engaging. I highly recommend a guide from Carpe Diem Tours (through Viator), and consider yourself lucky if you get Selene.

Andy was the best guide. There was a person in our group that struggled with some mobility issues and he just took the best care of her and made sure she was always with the group and enjoying the tour. Andy was extremely knowledgeable, witty and engaging. I would HIGHLY recommend this tour. He took great care with our group. A+++ Worth every penny.
