It was absolutely the best. Nacho, our private guide, was a historian and an artist, thus his knowledge and his explanations were fabulous. He took his time to answer questions, which we had plenty, and he put everything in context. One of the best tours we have ever taken

In our visit we just had the most amazing day trip from Madrid to El Escorial! This private tour was seriously worth every penny. Our guide was fantastic - super friendly and knew everything about the place. We cruised out there in a comfy van, which was a nice touch. The monastery is huge and packed with history. I loved exploring the basilica, royal apartments, and the crypt - it felt like stepping back in time! The library blew my mind with its ceiling frescoes, and seeing all those famous paintings up close was incredible. Our guide's stories made everything come alive. Skip-the-line access was clutch - we breezed right in while others were waiting. The views from the gardens were stunning too. Honestly, if you're in Madrid, don't miss this. It's a 10/10 experience, and doing it privately made it extra special. I'm still buzzing from all we saw and learned!
