Stonehenge
Visiting Britain's most famous ancient monument, the mysteriously erected stones and speculation over the centuries as to their purpose. This place has been visited and worshipped by human beings for thousands of years. Your tour guide will ensure that you have the best experience of the site. This tour includes a visit to the historic city of Salisbury and its medieval cathedral with the tallest spire in Britain and the best preserved copy of Magna Carta (cathedral admission tickets not included). IMPORTANT! Stonehenge audio gadgets are not available any longer on site. Audio guides can be downloaded from Stonehenge official website in several different language in advance.

Superb service with flexibility

5.00Bela provided superb service, flexibility and guidance. I had booked the 4 hour transfer for myself and my 87 year old mother but as our flight didn't leave till evening, Bela willingly adjusted the schedule to make the most of the day. He was on time at the pick up point, the vehicle ( a van with large windows) was spotless, comfortable and easily located. Thanks to Bela's pre-messaging the day was set up for success. We did a scenic drive through New Forest, had time for an excellent guided tour of Salisbury Cathedral, wandered the enchanting streets of Salisbury (with stop for morning tea), then took in the glorious gardens at Witlon House (with more food) before powering on to Stonehenge. Bela gave excellent insights into the history and scenery. He made thoughtful suggestions that ensured this day was a true delight... and of course got us to the airport on time and delivered us and our luggage to the door. I would not hesitate to recommend him. Great value.

Great Southampton option for a day between, before, or after a cruise!

5.00Bela offers a first rate service. We used him between cruise segments. Communication was EXCELLENT from time of booking through the tour. New Mercedes Van, very comfy all be it a little loud when traveling. Water and candy snacks available if you want them. Will let you set a schedule with some suggestions. Started at 8am….glad we did. He was waiting first in line at the pickup location. Hit Stonehenge when they open at 0930 and avoid the lines! He took us on a detour through a National Forest on our way where animals roam unbounded. Many herds of horses and donkeys. Bela gives you all the tips for Salisbury and lets you plan your time there. The Church is very impressive and includes one of 4 original copies of the Magna Carta. There is A quaint walking district just next to the Church with Pubs and food available. Don’t push your time getting back to ship…..there were 4 ships in port and traffic in Southampton was very slow going. Bela shared a great deal of his knowledge about the area and we truly enjoyed our time on his tour. Will use him again when we are back.

5.00We had a wonderful tour with Bello on a visit to Salisbury, Stonehenge, and the Wilton House. Bello was friendly and very knowledgeable about all the areas we visited. He suggested going to the Wilton House which was not on the original plan. We liked the Wilton House and was glad we could see the mansion and grounds on the last day of its season. Didn't rush us and helped us get the most out of our journey. Highly recommended

5.00Bela was an excellent driver and offered suggestions on his past experiences. He was always ready to assist in any way he could with ideas or alternatives. He was very attentive and easy to reach if we needed anything. The vehicle was clean and very comfortable.

We were not rushed at any of the places we visited and he gave us many recommendations on what else to do and see. Bello was in touch with before our visit to make sure we had everything we needed. Bela was punctual, communicative, and made everything easy with clear instructions and helpful messages—including a photo of the vehicle. He was incredibly knowledgeable and personable, sharing great historical insights throughout the day. The Stonehenge audio guide added context at the site, and the visit to Salisbury was a great addition. Highly recommend—would definitely book with Bela again!
