We stopped in to the shop after touring the castelo. The distiller stopped his work to welcome us, and share info and tastings of the liquors. WE were there for 30 minutes. When I got home I remembered the visit so well I ordered small bottles of various flavors to give as holiday gifts. Customer service was fantastic.

A visit to the Aragonese Distilleries is not (and should not be) only an opportunity to buy Ischian excellence but also an olfactory, tactile, taste and memory path of that Ischia of other times that we still remember and that we tasted, felt and smelled as children. An Ischia that we enjoyed as children picking a carob, a fig, on the street, which we smelled when we rubbed our hands on the wild fennel. When we "galloped" through the streets of an island still scorched by the volcano's lava, inciting the imaginary steed we were riding with our imagination. The path that Alessandro gave me was a blast from the past of memories. He took me back to Proust. At the rèverie. A priceless experience that I brought home with a bottle of Gerone and that I will bring back to mind with every sip.

It is a beautiful store and distillery. The owner is very passionate and knowledgable. We were able to taste all of the products and went home with a bottle. I highly suggest a visit!
