• Great Private Visit and Guide to Todos Santos!

  Our visit to Todos Santos was enjoyable and informative. Matt was knowledgeable and very pleasant. We asked many questions on our drive and learned so much about the area and Todos Santos. The tequila tasting was especially interesting.

  We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Todos Santos. Our private tour guide, Carlos, was awesome. He picked us up from our resort right on time. My husband and I were the only people on the tour, which made it very personal. Carlos made a slight detour on our way to Todos Santos and took us to a beautiful (somewhat hard-to-reach) beach, definitely off the beaten path. The beach was beautiful, and we got out and walked around and took some pictures. Carlos took us to all the sights in Todos Santos and allowed us to walk around as much as we wanted. He also recommended (and made our reservation for) lunch at Tequila Sunrise restaurant right in town. It was absolutely delicious, and maybe our best meal over the course of 2 weeks in Cabo/Los Cabos. We got to meet "Mr. Margarita" at the restaurant, and we enjoyed his specialty margarita made with Damiana liqueur during lunch. We had time to look around, saw the Hotel California, did some shopping, and simply explored this delightful small town. On the ride home, per my request, Carlos took us to Hotel Cristobal, which is right on the beach. I asked for this slight detour because a friend of mine had gotten married at this beautiful hotel/resort 2 years ago, and I wanted to see it in person. This was a wonderful tour, Carlos was a wonderful host/guide, and we'd do this tour again if we visit Cabo in the future. Thanks again, Carlos. From Gary and Tammy.

• Perfect Day Away from Cabo San Lucas

  We had a delightful day with Max who was the perfect guide for a tour up the coast to see Todos Santos at our own pace. It was nice to have a private tour which could be customized to our interests. Max knew where to go and the best place to eat lunch. He was patient as we checked out various stores and galleries. On the way back he took us to an off road private beach which was spectacular with wild horses about. I cannot recommend his tour company highly enough.

  

  

  

  

• THE WAY to see Todos Santos

  The trip started with a visit to a completely empty beach save for wild donkeys and close-in whales. The ocean was quiet and it would have been a good place for swimming. There were sea turtle tracks in the sand. We continued into town where we visited some shops and galleries and then had the world's best lunch at Tequila Sunrise. After lunch there were more shops and galleries and finally a visit to Tequila Town where we had a very thorough discussion of the history of Mezcal and tequila and a wonderful tasting. The tour is very much customizable, depending on how physically adventuresome your group is, both Max and Carlos are fun guides, and they have excellent comfortable vehicles. We have also done their hot springs tour and it is excellent. They also offer surfing and other adventures. Highly recommended.

  We got a very good history lesson about this region of the Baja Peninsula, visiting a number of buildings and sites from the 19th century. Max Kaufer, our guide, was quite informative and patient with us as we visited several art galleries and other sites. His recommendation for lunch was spot on - Tequila Sunrise. Also, the Tequila tasting was excellent. We were pleasantly surprised when Max picked us up at our hotel and we learned it was a private tour and not with a group of other people.   We had a great time on our tour of Todos Santos. Max was our tour guide and did a great job, he was very knowledgeable. Made for a really nice day trip from Cabo, especially if interested in art/history. Definitely worth the price.

• Magical way to get out of Los Cabos and see a bit of historic Mexico

  Max is great! We had an incredible day exploring Los Santos, popping into little shops and art galleries, and grabbing lunch. We stopped at a pretty hidden beach with four wild horses hiding among the palm trees. This is a magical place and Max is a wonderful guide! Definitely try to tequila ice cream if you get the chance (it is really good)!

  Wanted to go to Todos without driving ourselves. Carlos is fun and knowledgeable as well as highly flexible on the itinerary . Many restaurants in Todos were closed so went to an excellent taco place on the beach at el Cerritos. Fun day out

  Loved this trip when I took it with my husband six months ago, so when I returned to the area with my sister and brother-in-law, I signed us up for it again. Was not disappointed. Max was our driver and guide. He was so knowledgeable about the history of the area, the architecture, and local options for food and drink. Very safe driver. We really enjoyed our day in Todos Santos with Max. Highly recommend !

  Todos Santos was the first tour we took during our stay in Cabo and we’re so glad! Max is an awesome guide with an amazing family history. He gave us a real lay of the land from the moment he picked us up at our hotel until we arrived home. We enjoyed his warm & accommodating personality and vast knowledge of the areas we visited. The taco place and ice cream stand he took us to eat was some of the best we’ve ever tasted. We stopped and went shopping at the local street shops and popped into an art gallery. The local artisans were so welcoming. We learned so much during the tequila tasting (great tequila sommelier)…and this is coming from non-tequila drinkers! They will pour just the right amount for your taste. The entire tour was tailored just for us. It was so great! We will take another tour from Max the next time we’re in Cabo.
