  1000 percent HAVE TO DO THIS. Our guide Sergio was INCREDIBLE! We not only got to do a once in a lifetime experience but we had a guide who was so knowledgeable and proud of his country! We feel so fortunate to have learned so much him. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you!

  Fantastic hike up a volcano and the ride down was an adrenaline rush. Our tour guide was excellent and very knowledgeable and informative.

  Was the highlight of our trip! Wonderful guide and driver. Although we were initially nervous about the hike and sledding down, the guides kept our minds at ease with helpful tips and celebratory Gatorade’s at the bottom. 10/10!

  Very fun activity but trip guide was over a hour late and didn’t reach out until a hour after the tour was to start.

  Franklin made the whole experience so fun and comfortable, everything felt really safe and we were provided with all the equipment and clothing for the activity. The photos and videos provided are so professional and really made part of the experience. A must if you’re visiting León, we all had the best time.

  I went back on forth on whether to do this before my trip after reading some mixed reviews here. In the end, I’m really glad I did it. Yes, it’s a little bit touristy — but with good reason. The views were beautiful, in many ways the hike up was even more fun than the slide down. It seems like risk of injury is pretty minimal as long as you’re responsible with your speed.

  windy but good hike up to crater. guide was awesome, took pics and videos of us going up and boarding down keep mouth shut going down so you don't end up with a mouth of grit when you get to the bottom!

  Had the best time volcano boarding with Vamos Travel. Franklin was professional, knowledgeable and clearly very passionate about his job and country. It was great to be able to hike the volcano and see the spectacular views. All the equipment was provided (thankfully we didn’t have to carry the boards) and Franklin took the best videos. Highly recommend!

  The view from the top of the Vulcano was stunning. The sandboarding was unique and fun. Not as scary as I thought it would be. Franklin had great energy and vibes!
