This tour offers the perfect balance of a little activity in contact with nature hiking in a tropical rainforest and witnessing volcanic activity from a safe distance and the opportunity of relax at a natural swimming pool at the base of a beautiful waterfall and as a plus end up with a deserved break in the volcanic mineral hot springs.

All this at the convenience of going in a private and comfortable transportation.

By providing private transportation and a personal tour guide to each individual tour. We guarantee flexibility and a very personalized experience.

In order to make your trip very enjoyable,now we also give you the opportunity to walk a shorter trail instead of the 2 hour hike , it's only about half mile walk in the forest where you can see 4 small extra waterfalls.

This was a really nice collection of activities in the Rincon de la Vieja area. The park hike was first. We saw several different types of birds and a few monkeys. We really enjoyed seeing the volcanic steam vents and boiling mud pools. After the hike, we went down to see the waterfall and followed that up with the mud bath and soaking in the hot springs. The lunch is a buffet at the restaurant on site and it was decent. Our guide Gilberto did a nice job with transporting and guiding us along the way.

We really enjoyed outing with Geraldo, who was both our driver and guide for the day. The opportunity to see so many different animals and birds on our hike was amazing.

First- Johnny was the best tour guide ever! Very helpful and explained the entire trip and estimated timing. During the hike - he stopped and took pictures for us in the most beautiful places my kids loved him-he also took pictures on my phone of iguanas, birds, monkeys, and other animals through his binoculars- so they were clear and up close - absolutely above & beyond. Johnny was also a master finder of animals- fascinated on how he could see them! He never rushed us and made sure we were enjoying the trip! The waterfall was our favorite as you got to swin - even though it was cold, but rejuvenating!! Then to lunch was in a relaxing spot with very delicious and tasty food. Then the mud springs- what an experience.... all I can say is my wife and daughters raved about how smooth their skin was after, so it worked!! 🥰 Finally to the shops- secured the coffee, chocolate, souvenirs at some great prices! Highly recommend this excursion!! Some pointers- take bug spray and water socks with your swimsuit or change of clothes.
