Safety comes first! Before we send you off on your way, we will make sure you have exactly the right vehicle for your comfort, whether it be a bike or electric vehicle. If you feel you need to bike with a helmet, just let us know and we will make sure you have one. Our expert staff will make sure you know how to work your chosen vehicle and let you ride on it first to make sure you are comfortable with it and know how it works. We have various routes to choose from where you can easily go off on your own. Just scan the code and the route will open in Googlemaps. (Make sure your maps are set to bike and not car for routes). Thousands of people have done this, and, we haven’t lost one person yet. If you prefer a guided tour instead, we can arrange that as well. (Guide requests must be made well in advance).

It is never allowed to rent or drive one of our vehicles when you are intoxicated by alcohol or drugs.
It is not allowed to drive on the highway with our vehicles. You are obliged to always drive on the stated E-bike paths.
Always be aware of the residents and other road users. It is not allowed to use your bell unnecessarily, always drive slowly when passing wanderers and other E-bikers and always create enough space for other road users.

Depart from the old harbour in Volendam on your E-bike to explore multiple villages. Along the route you will see a beautiful windmill, lots of meadows, a countless number of cows and sheep and you will cross the famous Dutch dikes. The one time you will be riding on top of the dike, so you can see (and even dive into!) the lake, the 'Gouwzee'. The other time you are riding meters below sea level along the dike to experience how the Dutch locals live behind the dikes. From Volendam you can either choose or be advised which villages you would like to visit with your E-bike. Within one hour you can perfectly visit Edam, an almost 800 year old town north of Volendam. Edam is famous for its peaceful narrow alleys and small canals, the beautiful façades of the cosy houses and the unique small boutiques. Also Edam is known for its cheese market where visitors can both taste and purchase a various number of cheeses. Also another town, which is called Monnickendam can be visited in only one hour of time. When walking or cruising around in the old centre of Monnickendam it will feel like you went back in time. Along the streets you will see the beautiful houses made of light bronze bricks. Also the old harbour with its pretty ships and charming terraces is definitely worth a visit. An absolute highlight in Monnickendam is the beer brewery, where you can see where and how the beer is brewed, where you can taste the homemade sausages and enjoy the lovely terrace along the water. When you have more time to spend it is highly advised to make a tour from Volendam to Monnickendam and from Monnickendam to the former island Marken. Marken is a stunning town with lovely bridges over the small canals and really nice wooden façades. As the island can only be reached by the 10 kilometre long dike, the small town is surrounded by water where it becomes really clear again how the Dutch are dealing with living below sea level. From Marken it is possible to take the boat back to Volendam. The Volendam-Marken Express is departing each 30 minutes from Marken to Volendam and it is possible to bring your E-bike on the ship. After a 30 minutes cruise you will be back in Volendam where you can drive underneath the dike back to the rental company to bring back your E-bike.

And how nice: the next day we bumped into the employee in Enkhuizen – another spontaneous, friendly chat. What service, what people. You just want your bike out of here! You guys are tops!

5.00Fabulous villages were on the map provided. Saturday was a great day to cycle as there were markets on as well. Loved being able to ride at our own pace. Bikes were easy to use as well. Thoroughly enjoyed our day.

5.00Self guided tour of the countryside was absolutely amazing. The team that set up the bikes for us and gave us ideas were amazing. We explored what we wanted to see and enjoyed it immensely. A must do if you want to learn about the Netherlands.

5.002 wonderful days cycled around Volendam. More than 125 km cycled on wonderful bikes that easily lasted 80 km. Very satisfied with the rental. It was possible to store the bikes in the evening in our hotel and we even got a bicycle bag to borrow.

5.00It's been a while but I got a reminder to leave a Review, so here it is:) I rented e-bikes with my mother during the summer holidays at this bike rental and we really had a great day! We had not made a reservation but fortunately they still had 2 E-bikes available for us. We had no idea where we wanted to go but fortunately the nice staff could give us a nice route. We drove from Volendam to Monnickendam and from there to Overleek. There we had a delicious cake at a tea garden. Then we drove to Broek in Waterland and from there to Marken. Really such a beautiful route! Now we were really lucky with the weather but my mother and I really enjoyed it! If you no longer feel like cycling you can go back by boat but we found it so beautiful and fun that we went back cycling. We cycled almost 50 km in total and the e-bikes were still almost completely full! In short; really had a great day and would definitely recommend this rental company to anyone!
