Khazali Canyon takes you on a journey back in time by millennia. It's a narrow canyon inside the mountain, full of inscriptions made by ancient Nabateans and Thamuds. For centuries, it has been the rest and meeting point for the Egyptian camel caravans and pilgrims on their way to Mecca. Step into the canyon, and feel its unique vibes; You can almost hear the ancient ones in this amazing hidden place, inside the huge mountain!
Wadi Rum Protected Area
Red Sand Dune - This huge sand dune is on our tour in the morning for a reason! When you see it, you want to walk on it, and that's probably not so easy! The dune is so red because its sand is birthed from the red rocks of Wadi Rum around it. From the top, you have great views of the surrounding desert, so take your camera with you to capture the moment. When you want to come down, just run, and have some fun!

Little Bridge - This natural rock formation is the smallest bridge in the Wadi Rum desert, and it's easiest to climb on. From the bridge, you can see far into the desert, having a great view of its rocks and dunes. Try it! Near, you can still see the Nabataean inscriptions that mention the area’s ancient name of Iram.

This was a great Jeep Tour, big thanks to Salem and his group for the experience. He was very accommodating as he sent us communications via WhatsApp prior to the trip. Then, when we were running late, he was very helpful and had no issues and offered help. When we got there we parked up and got a private jeep tour (3 of us and the driver) for the full day with his cousin as the driver showing us all the stops and making for us an amazing lunch in the desert. The driver was very accommodating and let us pray and stop when we needed it. They then upgraded our accom and the room was great with hot water and a nice shower. The dinner venue was great, and the drop off was perfect. The only downside was that the heater was not working in the tent so we needed to wrap up a little but if we checked before hand they would have helped us with it.

Our gid was very friendly, very good English skills. Great carrying skills, was looking after us as much as he can.... Perfect dinner meal (one of best meal what we tried in Jordan at all). Jordan is a great place for tourists who would run away from standard tourism places, but don't forget it's not for everyone... If you you looking for something different, definitely try Wadi Rum with our gid! I more regret, im not big hiking and climbing tourist, because if you are, you can make your holiday be more unforgettable!

I've lived in Jordan for two years, I've been to Wadrum many times, but this was definitely my best experience. It was two days immersed in the culture, silence, hospitality and magic of the Bedouin people. I will never forget that time.

Saleem and his friends took us on a beautiful journey through Wadi Rum during the 2 days me and my friends spent there. We had a true bedouin experience, visiting his father's camp, going through canyons, watching the sunset in the desert. It was probably some of the most special days I had in my life. I truly recommend it to everyone interested in an authentic experience.
