To Do in Muscat .Through the Coast from Muscat to Quriyat and over the plateau Travel down and Reach Wadi Shab. Your will be taken for a breathtaking Visual Scenes "the most beautiful among Muscat tours scenes" , easy walk through the Wadi and you will have a picnic there. About 40 minutes walk through the canyon and green terraced gardens will bring you to a series of streams and pools. You will now have the opportunity to swim in crystal clear water and swim through a narrow keyhole, magnificent cave to Surface inside, which contains an inspiring waterfall. The cave is magnificent magical place. Stop at Fins Beach. Relax a while. Return to Muscat. (Kindly note that the wadi is strewn with rocks and pebbles which makes walking difficult. Advisable to wear sturdy walking shoes.)

5.00Our tour guide was the best! Nice and knowledgeable, he spoke perfect English, so able to answer any questions we had. The tour itself was very fun, but word to the wise, water shoes are a must bring, as well as knowing how to swim, you must be somewhat in shape, if not bring a floater or a vest. Beautiful place, overall a very adventures day and well worth the price.

4.00This was a full-day tour to get from our cruise ship in Muscat to the Wadi Shab, but it was worth it!! Our tour guide was waiting to meet us at the designated place and once we got in the clean 4x4 vehicle, we were on our way to the Wadi Shab. The drive was scenic and our guide tried to point out several points of interest. Once we were at the Wadi Shab, we had to take control for ourselves. Our guide was so nice that his answers to our questions of when and where do we change into our water clothes, were answered with "wherever and whenever you want". I appreciate the effort to be agreeable, but I wish our guide was more informative and more take-charge. After I told him I had read about the building/bathrooms at the entrance and that's where I wanted to change, he agreed. We then proceeded on our trek. The walk/hike was beautiful and as expected, took almost 45 minutes one way. It was worth it!! Once we arrived, we went in the water for awhile and then explored the area before heading back due to stormy weather. Let me say some things I wish someone else would have said - you need water shoes - you can change into swim wear upon entering the Wadi Shab parking lot - you'll need to put on clothes over it for the walk/hike until you reach the water - you can change back into dry clothes afterwards at the same building in the parking lot. Once you reach the water, you have your swim suit on and can jump into the water. Bring a towel in your backpack to dry off and to sit on while relaxing by the water. The water bed is all gravel and rocks. You'll definitely want water shoes. It was a fabulous experience and everyone should try it out!!
