5.00An excellent tour with a really entertaining and informative guide. Shirley was a treasure. Lunch was also exceptional and the view simply stunning. The whole group was very entertaining.

5.00What a fantastic afternoon! Our tour guide Shirley was incredible. Very knowledgeable with lots of facts about Waiheke, the culture, and the wine and wineries (of course). Lunch at Ki Māha was so delicious! We’re so happy we chose the smaller, more intimate group. With only eight of us it was easy to engage and get to know all the fun couples traveling with us. The whole afternoon felt very private and personal. Delightful!!

5.00First time in Waikeke island and decided against the hop on hop off, in favor of Debbie's tour. We are so glad! The lunch was fabulous and the tour was very interesting! If you go, order the Tagu rump. The best beef you'll have!

5.00Excellent small group tour with Waiheke wine tours. A great guide, (Shirley), with a lovely lunch and three wineries. Would highly recommend. Trip advisor, as the go between, complicated matters by confusing the currency that we purchase in, garbling and delaying messages and instructions from the actual operator.

5.00Thank you Zoltan! Our afternoon excursion to three different wineries was delightful. Our tour guide, Zoltan, retrieved us from the reserved ferry, where we met four other lovely couples. It was a great time. We highly recommend it.

5.00This was truly one of the best tours I’ve ever been on in any country. The tour guide, Paora, went above and beyond. He is the kindest, most genuine person. He truly cares for the people he is guiding. The women who work in the offices of this company were also the nicest and most accommodating. I ended up in the tour office and they took the very best care of me. The vineyards we visited were amazing and we had such a wonderful lunch as well. I highly recommend this beautiful tour and the company.

4.00Firstly, our driver and tour guide Rob was excellent, the perfect host - friendly, informative and fun. We really enjoyed the tastings and all the hosts and presenters at the wineries were brilliant. We met some great people on the tour who came from different corners of the world. Lunch was okay; wonderful venue and location, friendly staff, but food a little disappointing. (Dips served late, beef mains a little bit tough). Only one thing let this trip down: the admin behind it. We booked our tour in late November 2025. We were sent ferry information which suggested two alternative ferry companies to get to Waiheke, one being recommended over the other. The website link to the recommended ferry company was wrong. The ferry times given were also wrong, so that the recommended company wouldn't have got us there in time for the tour. I contacted Waiheke Wine Tours for clarification and received a short, terse response stating that in fact, only one ferry would get us there on time - the 11am Fullers ferry. We have email conversations to prove all this. The mistakes have neither been acknowledged nor apologised for by the company. Others on the tour had a similar experience. My current review is the third version so far, because all the company ever does is argue the toss and try to avoid admitting any accountability whatsoever. If this were my company, I'd be saying something like 'apologies for the incorrect information and links, we'll review our processes to prevent this happening in the future, but we're so glad you enjoyed the tour' - or something along those lines. Given the attitude of the company we would not book with them again. Which is a shame, because Rob and the hosts were great.

5.00We had a wonderful time on this tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and provided fun facts and commentary about the island. The wineries were lovely and the wines were very good.
