Waikiki's only five-day outdoor luau under the stars celebrating the colorful heritage of the Pacific Islands. Enjoy live music, an island-inspired luau feast, and an exciting production of "Voyages Across of South Seas," featuring the fiery drama of four fire knife dancers as well as traditional Samoan, Tahitian, and Hawaiian dance. 3.00It rained at 5:15, just before our 5:30 luau, so it was delayed until 6:00. The tablecloths were changed and the seats wiped dry. The food was good for that large a buffet. The show was entertaining. Here’s the bad. .. no second trips through the line. 5e food was taken down within minutes of the last person in line. So if you’re hungry take two plates through the line the first time. .. there were 2 buffet lines: 1 on the “uphill” side and one closer to the lagoon. I used the uphill line - it did not have a dessert table - but I found out later that the other buffet line did ! AFTER the food was removed. NO dessert for us! .. there was a self serve coffee station, but when I got to the gallon size, pump style coffee dispenser it was empty. I pointed that out to a server, he had to come over and pump the same dispenser to prove that it was empty. Once he agreed that it was, in fact, empty he told me to wait and he went to get me some. When he returned he brought me 2 cups of coffee, which was great for me, but not for the 20 other people waiting for some!!! I gave 1 of my cups to the person standing next to me waiting patiently for coffee!!! I paid $185 per seat ; $740 for 4 people. I walked away hungry, low on my sweet tooth, and low on caffeine. Think twice - or be more prepared than I was to protect your family’s meal.

5.00Highly recommend diamond seating. Great views. The food and drinks were great. Wonderful atmosphere. Amazing performances from around the pacific. A highlight of our trip. A definite must do.

1.00I have attended much better Luau dinners in Maui. I was expecting a similar experience however this one did not meet even half of my expectation. Dinner was not good at all. The quality of food was poor. I expected for the price of $250 per person to at least have better quality food. We paid $1300 in total. The show was okay however was much shorter than the one I attended before. They did not announce there were desserts. We figured it out by ourselves. Dessert was not good either. I wish I could get my money back however I know they won’t refund me even if I asked. I could spend that money to do better things and get much better quality food else where.
