  We noticed people standing behind a rope watching the show. It is not fair that we paid for the show and others are watching it for free. Also the show was too short for what we paid.

• Spend the extra and get the premium seats

  If you want front row to the Friday beach fireworks and a good luau experience this is a good one. It is busy and they pack people in. It is worth paying the extra for the premium seats. 5:30 is not when it starts it’s when they start letting everyone in and they let the premium tickets in first when then those people get first access to the small activities, drinks and then food. Extra waiting with general tickets. We had the premium so it felt like things moved quickly. Half way through the line was longer and longer for drinks with only two people serving them so we did not use all our drink tickets. Music and entertainment was great. You are next to the beach but between two major hotels and on the far side of lagoon next to all their rented large trikes so if we are booking it for the beach view experience then this is not it.

  Don’t buy this, the show is brilliant, but you can watch it from the path for free, all you are paying for is a chair & a drink.

• Our Luau experience

  After never having been to a Luau we had a very wonderful experience. It was made quite easy to get our tickets. We met some wonderful people at our table. The entertainment was excellent!

  For $119/each you got one drink and seated in wooden folding chairs to the sides of the tables where the people who spent more money were (they ate a buffet dinner). The show was a little under an hour. The performers were good. More singing than dancing. Here’s why the low rating: you can just walk up and stand on the sidewalk and see the show for FREE. The venue had no exclusivity and any person staying at the hotel or not could walk up and see the show.

  Nice experience with perfect weather. Beautiful dancing and great huge buffet sampling many traditional Hawaiian dishes.

  This was my first luau so I don't have much to compare it too but it was great! A lot of food and drinks in addition to a great show! It was right at my hotel as well! All went great!

  I thought this was great. You DO NOT have to get in line early as they have a seat for you. I don't think it was necessary to give out tickets for drinks, but I understand. For four people we paid $962. The food was delicious and it was a great experience.

  A lovely evening Buffet food has a great selection with clear dietary guidelines- main reason we choose this luau. The host was fantastic The dancers who also made leis and did pen tattoos were wonderful. Fireworks were nice though I anticipated a longer show. The entertainment was well done and explained for the Hawaiian heritage. Drinks vouchers were appreciated, was a little shame that they didn’t announce ‘last orders’ and the lady serving drinks refused to serve us despite still having available drinks pre made and just stated ‘we’re closed’ repeatedly when we asked if you could just be provided with a readily made option. Queuing for the event was long and we arrived for diamond seating 45mins before opening so be prepared. Venue is beautiful. Photos are expensively priced so we declined.

  

  

  

  

• Big Bucks for a Bad show

  The Lau was not very well planned..had to wait in line for 30 mins before. Wait in another line to get a free watered down drink...no time at all to walk around..we paid alot of money to go..people lined the sidewalk all the way around the outside and enjoyed the show for free. Most of them had better seats than most people in there. The show was Ok..no vibe there..most workers were very unsociable and not happy to be there...I would definitely not recommend this Lau to anyone..they only had about a dozen dancers..they need to ramp it up..food was so so...cold and it sat out for at least an hour as we saw employees swatting flys away..we feel it was way overpriced and it was not a good show at all...
