Enjoy an afternoon Wine Trail tour exploring three of North Canterbury's boutique vineyards including Waipara Springs, Torlesse, Pegasus Bay, Waipara Hills or Georges Road, all producing a fine selection of both white and red wines for tastings. Also included are at least 15 wine tastings at the vineyards of wines from of numerous grape varieties.

Should the afternoon tour option with lunch be selected the Plattered lunch has been arranged at the first winery you visit on the day of travel.

Fantastic fun day. Great lunch at Waipara Winery and a large range of tastings. Jude our driver was great.
Too quick to taste the wine

While I usually love wine tours, this wasn't a tour that I enjoyed. I think the problem was when it starts, with a pickup at 1:30, the driver we had was rushing us through all the tastings. It wasn't then a subtle rush, it was a very clear,"let's go, we have to move". One person is the group quipped about how they were pouring the tastings so quickly that there wasn't enough time to tell the difference in what we were drinking. If you're looking to enjoy your tasting and learn about wine, maybe skip this tour. If you're looking for a fast pace, drink as fast as you can type of vibe, this might be your jam.

Our 3 winery tour an hour’s drive north of Christchurch was lovely. The driver was helpful. The 3 wineries were very good. The views were great.
No Wine For Me

The tour operator contacted us 4 months before the event with a time change which we acknowledged. However, no updates or reminders were sent as we got closer to the date. Therefore, we missed the tour. ALL correspondence, including our tickets and text alerts from Viator, including the original time of noon. It would have been great if there was a little more communication between Viator and the tour operator such that Viator updated all of its alerts, and the tickets, to the new time. We were very upset to miss the tour, and even more upset that neither Viator nor the tour operator has voiced any apologies, not have offered a refund.

Absolutely fantastic day visiting wineries in Christchurch! Our tour driver Joseph was the best...so friendly and informative! This tour company was so helpful and kind while insuring we made our tour when we experienced a bit of a snafu getting from our cruise shuttle to our meeting spot. The wineries we visited were wonderful. Great wine and a great lunch. I would highly recommend and would definitely do this tour again!
