We welcome children on the tour but the stories are of witches, political skulduggery, irish history and murder. So therefore it speaks more to adults than small children.

5.00We toured the Medieval Mile with Pat during what turned out to be the hottest days on record in Ireland. Not exactly ideal conditions for walking the old city streets. But Pat was absolutely unfazed. His energy, enthusiasm, and depth of knowledge never wavered for a single moment despite the heat. Pat has a genuine gift for storytelling. He brought the history of Kilkenny to life in a way that felt personal and vivid rather than rehearsed. From the castle to the cathedral and every lane in between, he wove together centuries of history with humor and warmth that kept our whole group engaged throughout. We were a family of four, and Pat read the room perfectly, keeping things accessible and entertaining without ever talking down to anyone. Even in brutal heat, we were hanging on every word. If you’re visiting Kilkenny, don’t skip this tour and don’t skip Pat. He is the real deal. We came away with a much richer appreciation for the city, and honestly, Pat’s passion for the history made the heat completely forgettable. Highly recommend.

5.00Pat used his training in theatrics to make this tour a delightful trip into time. He used humor and stories to bring it to life. This was one of the very best walking tours I’ve taken.

5.00A fantastic tour! Pat Moylan was full of passion and enthusiasm, wearing the old Norman attire, with sword, dagger and horn . A wealth of knowledge coupled with great storytelling ability. He left no stone unturned. Five star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Pat is a true actor and which makes for an engaging history lesson and his knowledge of past and present Kilkenney is extraordinary. We have recalled so many of his stories while we continued our trip!
