Paseo de la Princesa is considered one of the most scenic walkways in the world. This promenade is imporant because of the important historical sites and statues along the walkway.
La Fortaleza - Palacio de Santa Catalina
La Fortaleza (The Fortress) is the official residence of the governors of Puerto Rico. La Fortaleza was the first fortification built in San Juan harbor. The original tower, now called Torre del Homenaje, or "tower of homage," still stands; its name derives from an island tradition in which the resident governor climbs to the top of the tower to pledge a solemn oath of loyalty and courage during dangerous times.

5.00Carlos was an incredible guide. He is a history professor and educated us about the full history of Puerto Rico while showing us the sites. He answered all of our questions, was kind and even gave us a great recommendation for dinner! Highly recommend this tour with Carlos!!

2.00Sites were interesting but guide kept repeating himself and tried to tell too many jokes which were difficult to understand. Nice guy but the group was much too large and the tour dragged on. Drop off was not where advertised but near a restaurant that the guide favoured so we left early
