  I have read through the many positive reviews and therefore felt that this VR tour should be a great thing. After the tour, however, I asked myself: are we really talking about the same tour? The information content was manageable and the graphical implementation with the VR glasses was reminiscent of computer games at the turn of the millennium: the rendered "humans" looked like pixel monsters. In addition, the figures performed the same movements over and over again. Looked like they bought a package like this 20 years ago and then never invested anything again. I could have saved that money! The second point is only for the rather nice tour guide.

  Very nice tour guide. The VR scenes could be a bit more spectacular and lively. The scene with Empress Elizabeth is disappointing. No stars in the hair and little alive.

  Walking tour of Vienna city centre with audio guide. In striking places, you can experience scenes from the past using VR glasses. Very impressive!

  It was an amazing experience, one of a kind and very realistic! Can't recommend it enough! We could also choose the language we wanted from a couple selections. The guide was very helpful.

  SERIOUS!!??? The worst VR experience ever. I asked the guide at the end why the quality was so poor. He was directly attacked and countered, the whole thing cost us 200,000€, find one who does better. Then I laughed and said that in one day I could find someone who would make it better and cheaper. Simply pulled off and now pull off yourself. 40€ for a ticket? You can order a mobile phone VR mount for 20€, plug in your phone and ULALA :O a much better experience. The graphic designer screwed you!

  Booked the tour as a family - a total of 8 people, from young to “old” - and everyone loved it. You get a nearly two-hour educational tour of parts of Vienna's city center - the VR glasses around your neck, the cable headset connected to your glasses. The audio guide, a very pleasant young lady's voice, provides interesting information about buildings and the history of Vienna. Of course, you're not on your own. We were accompanied by an extremely courteous young lady who was mistress of technology. At a total of 6 points of the tour, you take a short break, put on your glasses and watch a video sequence lasting several minutes from exactly this angle. In this 360-degree video it is possible to look around by turning your head in all directions of the scenery. You can't expect an Ultra HD Hollywood cinema experience with these videos, though, that would be a bit too much of a good thing and technically probably only feasible with massive financial effort. The video quality is best described as "good console/computer video game quality". Oh, yeah. Each of the 6 videos shows a different era of Viennese history. Not only recommended for tourists, also for Viennese:innen.:-)

  It is a mystery to me why this tour receives so many positive reviews. Let me describe my experiences. During a leisurely walk through Vienna, I noticed a group of people standing around wearing VR glasses. Having become curious, I came across VR-Tours Vienna and booked a tour for 69 euros for two people. In Johannesgasse, we were handed out the glasses and headphones, and off we went. The audio guide was quite informative – a little light in the darkness. Our first VR station was St. Stephen's Cathedral Square. After putting on the glasses, we were immediately transferred to Vienna in the 15th century. ==References== I initially thought I had set the glasses wrong, because the image was so blurred that I felt trapped in an old computer game from 1980. The Avatar characters moved so stiffly that I almost expected RoboCop to turn a corner at any moment. The other stops about wars, pestilence, Empress Sisi and an event in front of the State Opera were not much better. Sisi looked so bad that I wasn't sure if she had just escaped from a bad horror movie or a failed graphic demo. After a while I could only amuse myself with the disastrous quality. The audio guide, on the other hand, maintained the level – at least something that didn't seem like a relic from the 8-bit era. I can't recommend this tour unless you're nostalgic and have a taste for video games that seem like a relic from the 8-bit era.

  It was a wonderful walk in the !. District of Vienna. The guide told us very interesting stories about Vienna and Austria. Partly we saw the buildings in real time, partly with the VR glasses in history. They thought you were in the middle of it live at that time. Anyone visiting Vienna should definitely do the VR Tour. Highly recommended!!

  Super! Was definitely something different and totally nice set up. Our guide did a really great job and by no means made the historical facts seem dry. In addition, he addressed the hot temperatures and was careful to look for shade spots.
