It is a good idea to wear appropriate footwear as there is walking involved on our tours. There will be a 45-60 minute walking tour in Oxford which will take place outside. England is known for its rain so it is advisable to bring a waterproof jacket or umbrella with you.

As part of this magical day out from London, we'll visit the world famous University city of Oxford, enjoy a 60 minute walking tour in the company of a professional guide. Founded in 1167, Oxford is England's oldest university. On our walking tour of Oxford, we'll walk past some of the most famous college buildings, cloisters and quadrangles, explore the back streets and across cobblestone squares, all the while standing in the shadows of the famous 'dreaming spires'. The University has 38 independent, autonomous colleges and we will pass alongside several of these on your tour, including Christ Church, Merton, Oriel, Corpus Christi, Magdalen, University, Queens, All Souls, Hertford, Trinity, Balliol and St John's. On this walking tour of hallowed academia the walking tour will take you past the Bodleian Library, the Radcliffe Camera, Sheldonian Theatre. We end our visit to Oxford with some free time, a chance for you to explore further at your own leisure before we continue onto the next stop of our tour, the Warner Bros Studio Tour London: The Making of Harry Potter & Oxford.

5.00Take plenty of time and a little snack. The food on site is - I think - very expensive. Otherwise there is so much to discover that the four hours I had were not enough. At some stations (Hogwarts Express, Privet Drive, Greenhouse...) the queues have been very long. All in all it was a fantastic experience and really worth his money.
Great Oxford and Potter tour, hope they assign seats for bus!

5.00We met at Gloucester Road Sta where we boarded the bus at 7:30am. (Note: this is the one sour part of our experience, people do not know how to queue and they all bum-rushed to get on the coach. The seat you get becomes your seat for the entire tour, so obviously everyone wanted to get on first.) Once we departed, we arrived at Oxford around 9:30am. The walking tour took approximately an hour and we had free time until we had to get back to the bus before 12. Ginny was a great tour guide, she was gushed about the history of Oxford, including how many miles of books are stored under the city, how much the Australian Prime Minister drank at a pub down the street, or where the best free public bathrooms are. Overall, a very fun and delightful way to explore the city. I’d highly recommend getting a snack to eat back on the bus and spending as much time exploring the city / shopping as possible if you want to minmax the Oxford experience. Theo’s pastries were delicious! Then we had a one hour bus ride to Warner Bros Studio Harry Potter Tour and had until 5:10pm to explore that on our own. It was super crowded on a random Thursday in Summer, but my group got done 50min before our meeting time. You definitely have enough time to get all the stamps or doing the photo opportunities there. Overall, I’d definitely do a day trip to Oxford again, not sure about the Harry Potter portion, but it was fun seeing the work the costume designers, artists, producers, etc did to make this work come to life.

5.00really fun! only about 3 hours in Oxford. AC on the coach was not cold, we were uncomfortable on the ride as it was a 90 degree day, but thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would do it again, would recommend it!
