6 out of 5 points!! Great food tour! Cuba was the best guide! He not only brought us closer to Polish food, but also brought Warsaw history to life. A warm host who was incredibly eager to give us a wonderful evening. And he succeeded 100%. A variety of delicious dishes. waiting for you. That much is already revealed. More than abundant is brought to the table. One should come with great hunger. If you want to get to know Warsaw and its cuisine, you should definitely book this tour. We were thrilled.

Cuba was very nice and committed. He was well-read and good at presenting. The selection of stops for attractions and food/drinks was well thought out. Suitable for all ages. In our case, 18 to 68.

Kuba is a very personable guide with an excellent command of English. He is well travelled and has an international awareness of political situations in all countries. I was impressed he knew about Canadian politics. He gave us an excellent overview of some aspects of Polish culture and history that shaped their cuisine. This included visits to a memorial to the 1944 insurrection against the Nazis, the Polish Jews struggles during WWIi and why it was difficult for the Polish people to help them, and Winnie-the-Pooh street (don’t know why we went there but it was cute). We first went to a milk bar for Soviet era daily fare and had a sour dough soup. Then we went to E Wedel chocolate shop to taste their chocolate covered lemon foam. Next stop was a traditional restaurant where we had a sit down dinner consisting of pork schnitzel, cabbage rolls and meat or spinach filled perogies with sour cream. After dinner we went to a cafe with fine decor for a traditional donut filled with rose petal jelly and topped with candied orange peel icing. Then we ended the evening at a bar where we were served a shot of bison grass infused Polish vodka. We were shown areas of the city of Warsaw that were unique. All in all it was a highly enjoyable experience after a long day.

Our guide Kuba is very personable and speaks English well. On the tour we went to two restaurants, a candy shop, a pastry/donut shoo and a bar. Food was all traditional and Kuba described the cultural significance of the various dishes. It would have been nice if there was a little more information on the ingredients/ spices. Overall we enjoyed the tour.
