  Laura and the other workers at Sand Dollar Resort were fantastic. Swimming with the pigs, the island, the facilities were all amazing. We had so much fun feeding the pigs, getting to touch and hold them, and watch them interact with each other!! We would 100 percent come to this activity at this location again. The only complaint was the time we paid for was 9:30 to 1:30. We didn’t leave the port until after 10. We didnt arrive to Rose Island until almost 11 and we left at 1, so we barely had 2 hours to enjoy the pigs and other water activities. The boat used for transportation barely had enough seating for all the people on board. We felt like packed sardines. The music on the ride was great.

  I had never heard of swimming with pigs. I love animals and swimming so I said why not. The boat ride to the pigs was amazing ! They did a great job playing music and going just the right speed to give good waves and make it fun. The ride was about 45 minutes. The pigs were so cute. We all lined up in the water waiting for them to run down and so we could feed them carrots. After they we fed them while they swam, we were able to hold them. They were so cute and it was an amazing experience! Definitely would do it again !!

  Great experience swimming with the pigs! The boat ride was long but we stopped off at an island where we saw Sea Turtles on the way to Rose Island. Tour guides were great. For pickup the only options available when we booked were either the cruise ship port or Montagu Beach, both on Nassau Island. We selected Montagu Beach, which was a $25 cab fare from our hotel on Paradise Island. I would not recommend going there for pickup. It was next to a fish market, smelled strongly, and the locals were hounding us to shop there. On the way back, the boat captain dropped us off at Margaritaville on Paradise Island. This saved us a lot of money on cab fare back to our hotel. Overall a great experience that we will remember for a lifetime.

  I thought the pigs were free and they were just out there The reality is that it broke my heart, it's animal exploitation. They leave 10 minutes “to give their show” they are trained, poor people work all day. Too bad. The island the sea is wonderful Very beautiful that beach

  The waters were beautiful & the staff was amazing! The ferry boat did leave later than it was supposed to, so that took from our time that we had hoped to have after our excursion, but the excursion experience made up for that. My daughter had a bucket list item to swim with pigs in the Bahamas, but I didn’t want that to consume the family’s whole Nassau day, so we opted for this Express option. It was perfect! We had enough time to swim & take pics with the cute pigs, as well as enjoy the beautiful beach area for a bit afterwards. The pigs are very well trained and behaved. You stand in a line in waist deep water and the group of piggies are pretty respectful as they swim back n forth eating the carrot pieces that everyone is provided. The workers also kept the piggy poop cleaned up, too, which I know is a concern for some (that doesn’t bother my family, but I know some are afraid of that aspect).

  Let me start with they don't have many bad reviews bc they ask you to contact them directly and not leave negative feedback, good business model but not good for the consumer! We arrived from a celebrity cruise at Nassau, quickly spent the first 45 minutes exploring the area and hit up a large outdoor market, since we had an 11am schedule we didn't have much time to see the city. We rushed back to the meeting spot at the port and there we just waited... the boat to take us to the island ended up being about an hour and a half late, the staff just said "wait here, the boat will arrive shortly", which was disappointing when you have only part of a day to explore a new place. Since we wanted to swim with the pigs, we just continued to wait. Once the boat finally arrived we made 2 additional stops for more people then finally went to see the pigs. Met with more disappointment when we arrived. The island staff were all sooo rude and disrespectful. We were forced to wait once we got to the island, the staff told us to stand in line at this dock and wait our turn. once it was our turn to enter the beach area, there were NO PIGS, apparently they would be coming out soon? Once they finally brought the 5 pigs out they gave us carrots to feed them. There were about 25 people in our group, so it was a bit of a chore to be able to get a pig to even come over to you, what is this title "SWIM WITH THE PIGS" because there was no swimming, and very very little contact.... we probably spent about 15 minutes with the pigs and then they took them away. Then we were told to get ready to leave the island. No time to eat or get a drink even at the bar. We quickly left, did the first two stops to drop the other people off and then finally back to the cruise port where we had enough time to stop at one shop and buy a shirt and hustle back to the ship with 25 minutes to spare till the gang way was up.... I was not happy with this trip at all... felt like a wasted day in the Bahamas and the anxiety of "are we gonna make it back in time or is the ship gonna leave us?" (I read a story a RedIt about this happening to someone in Mexico). I wish we would have had a nice relaxing experience, which we did not. I would not recommend this excursion!!! Would not do this again.

• Amazing Customer Service!

  We booked this trip for Saturday February 1st and were advised to arrive at the Mexican Salsa Grill in Nassau. We arrived about an hour early just to be sure we were on time. The people at the bar opened early for us so we could get a beverage and were very helpful when we asked if we were in the right place. When the time for our taxi came and went, we were getting quite worried we were in the wrong spot. A fellow at the bar contacted Nick, who was running the taxi service. He informed us that he had not received our booking from Tripadvisor and that we wouldn’t be going today. Nick apologized and was very sincere. He told us we would get a full refund and he was giving us a trip the next day….for free!!!! We were shocked to receive such excellent service!! The next day we boarded a ferry at the marina on Paradise Island and had an amazing day with the group from the Sand Dollar Beach Resort! (I’m leaving a 5 star review for them as well)! Our refund was processed and there was no charge for the Sunday excursion! If I could, I’d give this company a 10 star rating! Thank you Nick!
