On arrival to the cruise port, look for the "AMVIVO" sign located at the gazebo next to the North Terminal. Feel free to ask the port authority staff for directions, if necessary.
Check-in will start at 8:40 AM
Tour operates on local Island time not ship's time
If your ship dock's somewhere other than George Town, please take a cab over to meeting location downtown
If you arrive to the meeting location too early and don't see anyone from Amvivo do not panic, there are shops and free Wifi spots within 100 feet from the meeting point where you can wait around and kill time.
If you have a car, parking is available behind the Bayshore Mall in George Town
This tour is not recommended for cruise passengers with departure time 1pm (local time) or earlier

Great Excursion, Except for the tequila tasting.

4.00Cooking experience was a LOT OF FUN and of course, really good food that we cooked....free drinks too! I would highly recommend this. The ruins tour was also FANTASTIC and our tour guide explained what we were seeing, etc and was very informative and very personable. The only part that we really did not care for was the tequila tasting. It's a very run down, unkept building on the side of the road with fake interpretations of how they take the Agave and turn it into Tequila, but very fake. They produce nothing there. the tasting started with a glass of some bottled soft drink, like Mellow Yellow (Mexican version), and tequila. It was awful! We did go inside the "store" and we did taste a few tequilas but would not want to do that part of the tour again, for sure. We did really really LOVE ther small group part of the tour! There were on 6 of us in the group!

5.00Great Tour. We saw all the highlights of West Bay. We got a delicious lunch at a beachfront restaurant. Andrew was excellent. Great communication on pickup and drop off back at the cruise port. I would definitely take this tour again.

1.00They will not answer a message or. Call! Started calling 3 hours before because it was raining…no response. Talked to lady who said I could get reimbursed and they denied it! Not happy and will never use Viator again!

5.00Great tour of the island. It’s a little confusing to find the contact at the port but once we did, it went smoothly. Our driver OJ was amazing! Gave us lots of good info and answered the our questions.

5.00Everything was great except we did not get to see the Rum cake Bakery baking as they were not baking at the time but it was all good. We got to taste the rum and the cakes, met the devil in Hell and enjoyed the beautiful beach!

3.00The tour itself was decent. It was just enough time to see the island and go to the beach. I wish we learned more about the island and the culture as we were driving through. I have done other tours where they share a little more information as they drive. Additionally, the communication from the vendor was not great. They did not respond to outreach from me or Viator the day of the excursion.

1.00Unfortunately I was unable to experience this trip. It took an unusual amount of time to exit the ship, so by the time we arrived at the meeting spot, the driver had already left. I'm sure the excursion was nice, but for us we were left disappointed.
