A great couples tour after the museums close

5.00My wife and I were looking for an activity to do after the museum's closed. We are The parting type and don't drink so it limits the options. I saw this tour and thought it looked interesting so we signed up. Trevor was awesome! He was very engaging, told great stories and allowed you to learn a little bit of history and a fun way. The tour is listed as 1.5 hours and we finished at a little over that time. He had an iPad where he could show pictures of the people he was talking about and that helped you visualize some of the stories a bit better. Hopefully people can understand that with the government shutdown, there's still lots of great things to do in the city and this is one of them. I love the fact that I have a little bit of hearing loss for my younger days of listening to the radio too loud and I was able to hear Trevor perfectly. In a city where the surroundings can be a little bit loud, having a tour guide that is loud enough for the person in the back row to hear is hard and Trevor checks that box. If you have a chance to go on a tour with Trevor, take it. You won't be disappointed.

5.00Ingeborg was PHENOMENAL!! So fun with a great sense of humor and immense historical knowledge (gory and sordid anecdotes included)! I have done many DC walking tours over the years, but this one is my favorite of all. Huge recommend!!

5.00this tour was so much fun! Truth is stranger than fiction and if you think things are scandalous today, just wait til you hear about the old days. I learned a little more than I ever thought I wanted to know, things you won’t learn in History class! Fun night for grown ups!
