We are a boutique tour company that is locally owned and operated. We pride ourselves on keeping our groups small to medium in size and avoid taking out large groups so that we can make our tours more personal and unique. This is a safe rafting tour which is great for people that want to experience a tropical river without driving too far. The starting point is only a 25 minutes ride from Quepos and Manuel Antonio. The Naranjo River is a fantastic way for the whole family to experience a rafting trip in Costa Rica's Central Pacific region.

A minimum of 4 people per booking for the afternoon 12 pm tour is required

Playa Manuel Antonio

Once you are picked up at your hotel the drive is about 25 minutes to the starting point. On the way there, we drive through a couple of local Costa Rican towns. It is an informative ride as our guides tell you about the Costa Rican lifestyle and answer any of your questions. Once we get to our destination, you are fitted with the rafting gear and given a safety briefing. The ride down the river is about 1 1/2 hours though lush jungle and rain forest. The rapids are class 3 and 3+. Towards the end we float through a palm plantation before getting to the take out. Here you will be served a delicious snack of pineapple, fruit juice, water and cookies. The drive back to your hotel is only about 20 minutes.

What an exhilarating morning! Mel and Reuben were our guides. To reach the water, we walked down a very steep, muddy, slippery path. That took about 10 minutes. I felt triumphant once I made it. Then we jumped off a tall rock into the water and waded for a bit. There were just 2 rafts. My husband and I in one, my two adult kids in the other. There wasn't anyone else on the water. It was beautiful. The rapids were amazing. The IVs were scary but we felt safe. The guides are very experienced. There were a lot of rapids too. There is another guided raft for safety and to take photos that we were glad we purchased. It was an amazing adventure. Mel shared a lot about the area. This is our 3rd white water rafting trip and it was the best by far.

The whole team of Damien, Mel, Josh and Ronnie were fantastic in making us feel comfortable and giving us a thorough safety and prep session. The rafting itself was a blast and super fun

I've been white water rafting several times in the U.S. now and I have to say this experience was by far the best. I was with a group of 7 and the day started with us getting picked up from our AirBnB which was a convenient offering. From there we drove to pick up the gear and down to the river. Our guides Wesley, Jon, and Joshua were amazing. They were funny and kept the energy up. While on the river they shared details about the local flora and fauna to balance out the extreme. Following the ride they provided a delicious snack of fresh pineapple and fresh squeezed juice. On our drive back we had our first monkey sightings which we were desperate to see and instead of just driving on our drivers stopped to show us them. That level of service is what separates good businesses from great ones and it's all a thanks to those three!

This was the best rafting tour I have ever done. From start to finish everything was superb. Our captain Melvin was top notch. He was very professional, confident, funny, and we felt super comfortable in his care. The rápids and river was epic, we went through some amazing spots and did not want to get out of the boat when we reached our destinación. Snacks were provided at the end of our journey, which finished things off perfectly. We will book another tour to visit the top part of the river next season. Thanks again for such an incredible and memorable time.

Went as a family with a 10yo and 13yo. All of us had a lot of fun! It was thrilling and we couldn't get enough of it. We were beginners but we felt well taken care of and we were never felt frightened nor unsafe. Mel was a good guide too - he gave us useful info about Costa Rica and the local areas while driving us to the venue and back.

This tour was so much fun!! The tour guides were so friendly and helpful and made our experience so much fun! We went with Mel, Landon, and Joshua and they were super informative + fun. Would definitely recommend!!
Damian knows how to handle the rapids while making it a lot of fun!!

We booked this tour last minute with Damian and even though he had another large group later in the day he accommodated us. He knows the river really well and navigated us through the rapids expertly! He had a photographer who went ahead of us and captured all the fun moments. We had an incredible time with him and his team!

What a perfect day. Mel picked us up from our hotel to start. He was right on time, very friendly, and did a great job preparing us for the day. Mel made me feel very comfortable about our trip, and honestly was just a really nice dude to meet and talk to. Once we arrived, Landon and Jasper spent some time going over the rules of the river. After a few minutes of instructions, we were on our way. Landon was on our raft and ensured first and foremost that we were safe, but also that we were having a great time. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting the area!

This adventure was definitely one for the books! I had an adrenaline rush like I never have had before! Damian was my tour guide and he did a great job at giving directions to everyone on my raft and helped us to feel confident and have fun throughout the whole tour! I also really appreciate the safety measures put into place by the entire team that ensured our time in the rafts was as safe as possible! I would definitely recommend this experience!
