The Loxahatchee River tour starts out narrow and twisty as it meanders its along its way downstream from Riverbend Park toward the Atlantic Ocean. The round-trip tour lasts approximately 2 hours from Riverbend Park down the river, depending on water and weather conditions. You’ll pass through an incredible cypress swamp, some sandy areas and thousands of species of plants and animals. The tour will often be under the shade of a beautiful canopy of cypress trees. Currents and water levels vary with the seasons. Portage may be necessary. Please review conditions and specific tour details with staff.

5.00Candace was our guide and it was just great from the start. It was my family’s first time kayaking and she was patient , gave us a pre lesson and was awesome for the duration of the river tour. Sje did not rush us at all!! The river and environment itself was just beautiful. Candice shared knowledge of the river and its history which was cool. It was just a very neat change of pace family day on the river . My kids already asked when can we do that again and can we please buy kayaks !! Lol oh and I should mention Amanda was great in getting us booked for this tour- Amanda and Candace are just great!

5.00We went on the 2 hour guided kayak tour. John was an excellent tour guide. Friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. Beautiful scenery. Parts of it reminded me of a page out of a storybook. I would recommend this place!

5.00Great time. Serene beauty! I learned a lot about the river and it's history. Our guide, Matthew was the best guide I've ever had! He was knowledgeable, personable, and kind. He made our trip special and left us with great memories!

5.00Relaxed, fun and informative kayak outing with Matt as our guide. Well worth doing. Drive up, you’re on the water within 15 minutes. Beautiful Cypress- lined, narrow river with an interesting history. Matt was upbeat and knowledgeable.

5.00What a fantastic tour! Great scenery, lots of wildlife (alligators, owls and turtles) and a wonderful tour guide (Matthew) who was so knowledgeable about the history of the area and animals seen from our kayaks. We’ve done several other kayak tours in Florida but this one was superior, in large part thanks to Matthew! Highly recommended if you’re in the Jupiter area - and a good value for the money.

5.00You feel like you go back in time!! The river is very easy to navigate especially with our expert leader, Matthew. He is very knowledgeable and he even sent pictures to document the experience. Highly recommend this event!!

5.00We had a wonderful tour with Wild & Scenic Loxahatchee River Tours. Donna, our guide, was a pro and led us up and back the river with no problems. She showed us wildlife (gators and gator babies) and told us interesting facts the entire way. We loved every minute.
