5.00Staff were very friendly and helpful. Explained that conditions were not ideal and offered chance of refund. I took the sea sickness pills offered and went for it! So glad I did, amazing experience and although windy it was a relaxing evening. Saw dolphins in the distance and got really close to the seals, great experience.

2.00We expected more from it. We only saw seals, and we were told that the dolphins are usually farther out at sea, so the chance of seeing them is almost zero. It seems quite expensive to us considering that you only get to see seals, which you can actually see much better if you just go for a walk along the Kaikoura Peninsula Walk — we saw many more of them during our walk there. So we were a little disappointed, and for that price I definitely wouldn’t go again. However, the instructors were very kind. I think 80 NZD would be a more reasonable price.😏

4.00Sorry, this is a 5 star review but my device only gave a 1-4 option. The guide, Rob, was fun and informative. We got to see blue penguins, alpine sea birds, and a few fur seals. It would have been nice to see more seals but apparently they come and go randomly. We appreciated that the guides didn't waste our time on land with excessive instructions.

5.00The guides were knowledgeable. We got up close to some dusky dolphins doing acrobatics as well as some swimming under our kayak and got to see some seals as well, would recommend.

5.00A really good fun morning out. Super friendly guides, incredible scenery and just a great way to spend a morning. The sea was a little rough when we went and I think the tour was even better for it, we had great fun playing in the waves before going into a cove to look at seals. Well worth doing.

2.00Very disappointing wildlife, bearing in mind it was a wildlife tour. Only saw 3 seals on the rocks from afar. Spent a lot of time far from shore. Expected rocky coves etc., near the shore
