Living a rich life is about experiences, not stuff – our spectacular backyard is full of adventure and we want to share it with you. Get out of your comfort zone and be rewarded as we conquer the highest waterfall cable climb in the world.
Our Level 1 climb involves approximately 45mins of physical climbing and 4 bridge crossings. Our Via ferrata tour is perfect for those who love the outdoors, waterfalls and beautiful places. It is suitable for beginners, families and hesitant adventurers with basic fitness.
No experience required.
Your tour starts at the waterfall where your friendly guide will fit your safety gear and teach you how to use the equipment before starting the climb. You will be climbing on steel ladder rungs and crossing wire bridges to finish at a beautiful picnic spot. We then walk down a mountain trail and back to the base.
If you are more adventurous and are looking to explore more in this incredible vertical world, we recommend our intermediate Level 2 climb.

Minimum age on this tour is 12 years. If you are under 16, you must climb our via ferrata with an adult guardian. For children under 12 a private tour may be an option. Please request upon booking.
All minors (16 years and under) require an adult guardian’s signature on their waiver. There are no upper age limits to this activity.
Please advise if over 220 pounds (100kg) or under 88 pounds (40kg)

If you can climb a ladder you can do it. Our tours take place on a private working deer farm, nestled in the mountains, 20 minutes drive from Wanaka. The air is clean and the views just keep getting better and better the higher we go. It is an adventure of a lifetime. 5.00This tour looked exciting online but I found it confronting once through the wooden door off the cliff edge. If it wasn't for the amazing guide Ben, I wouldn't have completed the tour. He talked me through each stage and made me feel safe and encouraged me the whole way. So glad I did it and I would definitely do it again 😊. The walk back down was just as spectacular as the climb!!!!

5.00Loved this experience, was truly a lot of fun! If you enjoy thrills, this is one to do. The guides teach you everything you need to know and you then do a small practice run before setting out. The views are incredible and the climb was something new for me. We're planning to return for level 2!

5.00This is honestly one of our most memorable experiences in New Zealand. The company is top-notch - safe, professional, and with extremely knowledgable and experienced guides. Shane was so great. We learned so much about the area, climbing, and life in general. We loved talking to him and he kept us safe every step of the way. Also, lunch was delicious!

5.00Unforgettable experience! It was a workout for sure, but what a climb up an amazing waterfall. Guides were professional and clear, answered all questions and helped out when I got a bit stuck, encouraged me and made it fun. Well worth the money--you can't beat an experience like this!

5.00This was one of our highlights while visiting New Zealand. The whole experience from start to finish was top notch. The staff is well trained, attentive, kind and good humoured. The safety training provided gave us comfort that safety was taken very seriously, and we were in good hands. Add to that the absolutely stunning views and this was an 11/10 experience. Can’t recommend it enough! If you’re reasonably fit, you’ll love it!!

5.00Team was very professional, knowledgeable and fun. Level one was perfect for our family of 6 including a 10-year old and a 13-year old. Although it was scary and challenging we felt safe the entire time. For 4 of us it was a new experience and was the highlight of our trip to Queenstown. Although it was a drive from Queenstown it was worth it. Stop at Kawarau Bungy on the way, if not to jump at least to watch! What a thrill!

5.00Amazing experience for myself and 3 teenager daughters. The weather wasn’t kind enough to let us continue past Lvl 1 but we were all still happy to get to where we did. Our guide, was awesome👌
