Please note: Windsor Castle is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays . St. George's Chapel is open for visitors on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturdays (and closed Sundays).
As Windsor Castle is a working royal palace, sometimes the entire Castle or the State Apartments within the Castle need to be closed at short notice

Windsor Castle
The town of Windsor is best known for its historical links to the British royal family, and it is suitably steeped in pageantry and history. Towering over the rest of the town is Windsor Castle, the ancestral home of the English and later British monarchy, and largest inhabited castle in the world. It has been the family home of British kings and queens for almost 1,000 years and is today one of the official residences of His Majesty The King. Occupying over 10.5 hectares, the Castle offers a varied day out for visitors, including a visit to the magnificent State Apartments and St George's Chapel. The Castle's State Apartments are furnished with some of the finest works from the Royal Collection, reflecting the changing tastes of the Castle's royal occupants, particularly those of Charles II and George IV. Many of the works of art are still in the historic settings for which they were first collected or commissioned by the kings and queens who have lived at Windsor.
St. George's Chapel
St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle in England, is a chapel designed in the high-medieval Gothic style. It is both a Royal Peculiar, a church under the direct jurisdiction of the monarch, and the Chapel of the Order of the Garter. Seating approximately 800,[1] it is located in the Lower Ward of the castle.

5.00The most underappreciated part is the seamlessness of the experience. The coach is not just a bus; it's a time travel machine with wifi. You're paying for the removal of friction from inter city travel. I'll say it was perfect choreographed travel between destinations.

5.00Being profound is sufficient, but prolonged meditation is not. This is well reflected in the pace of the tour. You won't be let down if you enter with the knowledge that Stonehenge is a breathtaking stopover the route to o Windsor's deep dive.

5.00To be honest, I nearly cancelled the flight since I was so exhausted. I'm so happy I didn't! The coach was cozy, and I had to stay up late to witness amazing things because the day was organized. If you're pressed for time and high on caffeine, this is a terrific, fast-paced introduction. It proved to be a remarkably resilient and well-planned itinerary, rain or shine.
It was satisfying!

5.00I reserve this as an entire day trip from London and it delivered. It is a very active day with a lot of traveling, but every detail was taken care of, thus we did not have to think much.
