Perfect opportunity to taste 4 unique Slovak wines in the dark, where you will find out what an amazing job can do your senses when the lights go down.

The tasting is in a historical cellar from 17th century in the heart of Bratislava, close to the other interesting things to do in a centre of our beautiful city.

Plus:

1. Your senses will grow much stronger. Since your eyes cannot see, the smell will try to do the work instead.

2. You will learn how to taste and smell properly. It is a technique that can be learned.

3. You will not have any predjustice. Conscious, nor unconscious. Our brains can do awesome things. You will be surprised.

4. The wines we produce on Slovakia were served to the royal families, on 1st class deck on Titanic and even to the two worlds powerful men.

You will be welcomed in the beautiful old wine cellar, seat you down and let you breath the historical ambience while you will still clearly see. After a short audioguided introduction we will slowly let all the lights go out until the utter dark. We will serve you 4 unique Slovak wines in the dark during 40 minutes. The tasting will be guided by an audioguide in English language. So, first of all our sommelier will pour you the first sample of Slovak wine and our audioguide guides you throught the tasting in a fun and interactive way. Don´t be shy during the tasting to express your feelings or opinions. Our sommelier will listen to you during a whole tasting. You will not know, nor see the wine which we poured to your glass. There is more to this, than you can imagine. You will experience new open world of aromas and flavors of the unique slovak wines. 4 excellent wines will show you the beauty of the wines produced in our beautiful country. You will enjoy cultural, sensoric and relaxing time all together. Do not miss the opportunity. IMPORTANT! Please notice to arrive 5 minutes before the tasting starts. Thank you!

It was interesting not being able to see anything. The information on the tasting helped me identify what flavors I was tasting. It was a fun time.
This was a really interesting and fun experience. The staff were really lovely and extremely knowledgeable and friendly.

My husband and I did the wine tasting in the dark and it was a fantastic experience. We were the only ones there for our time slot but we still had such fun. If you have a spare hour I highly recommend fitting this in. Friendly and professional service. Fantastic facilities and excellent wine!

The sommelier really knows his craft. There were only the 2 of us booked in for this experience and afterwards there was the chance to ask questions of the host and we learned so much about who are the world’s wine experts, the impact of the cask on the wine and he even invited us to taste some delicious ‘wine’ made from cherries. This event exceeded our expectations

A fantastic experience in total darkness. Tasting wine without seeing it was very interesting as well as surprising. Who knew seeing your glass of wine already started forming your opinion of the wine. The narrator for the tasting was very funny. I would highly recommend this experience!!
If you are a wine drinker, don’t miss this!

This was a GREAT experience. So unique & totally unexpected. We originally had a wine tasting experience scheduled for our tour group that cast $120. Our tour guide told us this was a much more interesting experience and it totally was - for almost $100 less! I am in the wine business and have never experienced anything like it.

It was a fun experience but not worth the money for the amount of time. The whole experience felt rushed and other tastings cost much less - you’re paying extra just to be in the dark.

So much fun ! Was unsure what to expect, but the whole experience was well managed and the wines were good quality. We came as a group but people on their own were put together so it’s a sociable experience. Our friend struggled with the dark so was whisked out and had her own personal tasting - whilst laughing at us in the dark on the screen. I would recommend this to all visitors to Bratislava if you’re looking for a quirky fun experience. I am not sure that not being able to see really heightened my senses, but we had such an enjoyable time it didn’t matter.
