After a short walk, your tour guide and wine expert will take you to the Leichhof, one of the central squares directly at Mainz Cathedral. Hear the history of the venerable church (admission not provided). Would you like a glass of Secco to start?
Kirschgarten
In the Kirschgarten, one of the most picturesque squares in the old town, you can hear the tangled history of the name Kirschgarten, see the oldest half-timbered house in Mainz, which has something to do with the most famous son of the city of Mainz. Then betray each other.

5.00It was a very informative as well as culinary event by the city of Mainz. Although we are all at home here, we have gotten a lot of information about the city and the topic of carnival. It was always fun and entertaining.

5.00We did the Mainz Fastnachts Wine Walk with Frank as a guide in a group of 10 people – and it was just completely successful! The tour was very informative but also incredibly fun. We had a lot of fun throughout, tried a delicious sparkling wine and two really good wines and learned many new things about Mainz and the carnival. We found it particularly pleasant that the distances were not too long and the duration is chosen just right overall. Frank really did a great job – very entertaining, personable and with a lot of flair for the group. It was especially great that he always actively involved us. As a result, it never became boring, but remained exciting and varied. A real highlight was the self-created carnival lecture at the end – a perfect conclusion to an already very nice evening. Thank you, dear Frank, for this great evening – and also a big thank you to Wine Walk Mainz for this great idea!

5.00It was already our second lead and we are completely thrilled again. The mixture of interesting cultural information - brought across loosely and interestingly - and three super wines with also great information about the wines, the grape varieties and the winemakers, simply delights. Definitely back next year. Thanks Thorsten for the great time in Mainz. Looking forward to our wines!
