  We had a great day with John! Not only is he very knowledgeable about the wars and the region, he explains it in a way that you can imagine it all. John also took the time to get some information about both my grandfather’s WW1 tours and went to some of their posts, it felt that I was walking with them. Could not have asked for a better day!

  Had a wonderful time Allison shared a lot off knowledge all day long. The highlight for me was the conversation between sites and the dedication to detail she provided tensure we got the most out of the tour. At every site she joined us on our journey always answering any question we may have. I highly recommend Allison

  This was the highlight of our trip to France. Alison was an amazing guide, researched a family member and showed us the key spots in their story alongside the broader tour which gave us a great sense of what the Canadians did at the Somme and Vimy. Can't recommend this highly enough. Thanks Alison!

  Alison is personable and a wealth of knowledge about all WW1 actions and sites in the area. She showed us everything we wanted to see and gave us an excellent restaurant recommendation in Arras!

• Beyond belief - the number of dead

  Jon (my guide) was a fountain of information. I had mentioned that I was going to visit the grave of my Great Uncle and he dug up all the available information that was known about him. The Commonwealth Graves Commission has kept all the cemeteries in pristine condition. Vimy Ridge was fantastic. The number of unknown soldiers was a somber moment as they may male up 1/3 of the graves. Well worth every penny.
